Synopsis: Lu finds out that her boyfriend is an incredibly (Taro Sakamoto-level) strong ex-assassin. How exactly would that go down...?

She probably found out on pure accident. And it went down one of 3 ways:
1) She was getting harassed by some shady folks. And as much as you trusted her strength and independence— you wouldn't let that slide. So you rolled up your sleeves and got to work.
2) Someone from the past caught wind of your whereabouts and wanted to take you out. She just happened to witness you take care of it.
3) Wutang ends up mentioning it in passing and now Lu knows.
She's amazed! We already know that she admires Sakamoto and thinks very highly of him. That being said— to have someone on his level and so young too? That's a literal miracle!
"What? You didn't tell me you were so strong!"
She definitely has a lot of faith in you and a ton of respect for you. Does that automatically mean she'll leave you to fend for yourself in danger? No. She'll put her own skills to work. Nobody messes with the triad!
She 100% uses you as her scapegoat— should anyone bother/ hit on her.
"Nuh uh! I have a super strong, super handsome boyfriend. And if I call him over here— we will beat your ass!"
She is a little curious about your glory days. So she might occasionally ask either Sakamoto or Wutang to provide extra intel. She's just curious!
Absolutely brags about you to Shin and Heisuke. They honestly respect you too. From the way she describes you and your absurd strength— they don't have a reason not to.
Definitely asks you to lift stuff or open jars for her. Not because she can't, but because she just wants to see you use your muscle. (Granted that occasionally, she didn't genuinely need your help.)
"Babe, can you open this for me? It's sealed too tight."
Goes absolutely nuts, if you wear anything that shows off your physique. A button-up shirt, a compression shirt, slacks, jeans, or just go shirtless— it all means the same thing to her! She's practically drooling and refuses to take her eyes off of you. If you allow it, she will feel you up.
When she's drunk, she definitely feels up your muscles, on instinct. Sometimes, she'll even slip her hand under your shirt. She'll never do anything too outrageous— just feel you up and admire.
Speaking of her being drunk. Occasionally, she'll knock herself out with alcohol and you'll need to carry her back home. That is unless you're also flat drunk. Then, you can either stumble home together or crash wherever you were.
She feels a lot safer around you. You are her safe space— being her boyfriend and all. But it definitely feels nice knowing that she doesn't need to keep herself up at night— wondering if she's being tailed or that her past enemies are going to use you to get to her.

Honestly? As difficult as it is— I actually like writing for underrated characters. I know the struggles of liking a character, going online and then having absolutely NO ONE say anything about them. It literally hurts!😭
But onto the actual request. This honestly super fun! I kinda like the concept of (any) reader being relatively OP. Or at least strong enough to hold their own— should they encounter trouble. 🤷🏽♀️
