And its only now, after having journeyed through all of the othersâ eras, their homes, and having returned to his own that he can really put all that heâs seen into contextâŠ
Because when Wind looks up, when he sees Hyliaâs Lightâthe brightest star in the skyâ to the North and Kalaktomas to the West, he knows where they would be in Time's era.
Knows that theyâre sailing directly over where Lon Lon Ranch is.
Or...
Where it used to be.

Ok so @ballad-draws I drew you a drawing for lu artists appreciation 2021 based off the piece you submitted into the census!!
I also wrote a pretty cracky around like 500 words fic, Iâll leave that under the cut
âGuys, this is Shadow!â Four introduces, as he strides into the clearing with a figure following behind him.
âSupâ The figure greets, revealing themselves as an off brand Four with a black tunic and purple hair, as well as a multitude of piercings on their left ear.
âWhat the fuck Four?! Why and How the fuck is Dark Link here!! And why are you acting like friends?!!â Warriors shouts out, appalled by Fours behaviour as he and the others pull out their weapons.
âWoah woah woah! Calm down mate! Didnât you listen to Link? Iâm Shadow!! Not Dark!â Shadow replies, rather put off by being compared to dark link of all people, seriously that guy is lacking in dramatic flair. Oh and the hostility isnât appreciated either!
âIs there a difference?â Wind asks, slightly lowering his sword, causing Time to shoot him a look.
âOf course thereâs a difference! I have WAY more style than Dark! Plus!! Iâm actually good! Not evil! So like, you can point your swords away from me now!âÂ
âA good version of a dark link? Is that even possible?â Hyrule wonders out loud.Â
âOf course! Gah why are you all so suspicious of me?! Link tell em!â
The attention turns to Four who hasnât moved from his original position and has been struggling not to laugh at Shadows' expense. âHuh? Oh, yeah right, Shadows good. Heâs an ass but heâs good.â
âSee!!â Shadow exclaims, gesturing frantically to Four and glossing over the very obvious insult towards him. Most of the links lower their weapons but some still hold suspicion and thus keep them raised.
Time turns to, meeting his eyes âYouâre 100% sure that this Shadow is on side?â
Four nods firmly, âCross my heart and hope to die, I promise Shadow wonât cause any intentional harm to any of us.â
âIntentional harm? Youâre saying he might somehow hurt us without meaning to?â Legend scrutinises, though he had already put his fire rod away the second Four vouched for Shadow.
âWell yes, he is rather stupid.â Four deadpans.
âHey!â Shadow gasps, feeling utterly betrayed. He dramatically drapes himself across Four, for the dramatic effect yâknow, screw you dink this is how you do it. âWhy are you so cruel to me Link? This is worse than that time you tried to smash me over the back of my head with a hammer.â
âHuh?!â
Four sighs, already tired of Shadows antics, âWe have a long and rather complicated history.. But all you really need to know is that Shadow used to be bad but had a change of heart and now heâs good.â He explains while Shadow nods along, still dramatically clinging onto Four.
âAlright thenâŠâ
And After that, Shadow permanently joined the chain, fitting right into their family as the annoying little sibling that they all hate and love at the same time, the end.
