Yesterday we said goodbye to a beautiful person in a beautiful place. To say the least it was a hard day filled with all of the emotions one could fathom. I think the pastor said it best, “a deep, deep sadness”. But there was another emotion that seemed to ring through this tragic event, positivity. Once again, like every other time I came in contact with @sierracahoon I left feeling just a little better than I arrived. I saw 1st hand what true love, between husband and wife, families, friends, & even God (or as I call her Gia) can really do. How big of an impact it makes on a human on life. & even when my hands began to shake and my biggest fears lay in front of me through deep sadness I found so much joy in being surround by my sisters. Validation, safety, & belonging, something I have not felt in such a very long time and couldn’t have been happier to find it. Nothing replaces such a beautiful person but it amazes me that even in the darkest of times when she’s not here she leads by example and helps the people around her. Saying you’ll be missed would t do it as much justice as admiring I’ll see you again one day.
