Ninten is... well, lost. He wouldn't describe it as lost, though, just cheerily wandering around. He didn't really think to ask anyone directly where to find K-3, so he just... wandered, and continues to wander.
But then he notices a blonde kid. A blonde kid carrying a very familiar item which makes Ninten touch the plain wooden bat he's been given. Sure, the other kid's weapon is more battered, but it's easy to see it. The Hall of Fame Bat.
He moves towards the kid at not a run, but certainly faster than a walk, trying to get close enough to talk to him (or fight him, if he has to).
