God this is so old and I’m so sorry…Hm.. Getting close to Lucci isn’t going to be and easy feat and honestly, I don’t think he’s capable of having a relationship that isn’t toxic. Obviously him being the toxic one—but I can attempt! I think I’ve written for him before once or twice, but the more I look at it,it probably won’t be a very fun relationship.

Lucci isn’t a very…fluffy person. He does not like PDA, nor will he tolerate it. Do not touch him in public, he honestly won’t even hold your hand to comfort you in any way. Suck it up buttercup.

-he will however reach out an arm so you can find him easier
-he lets you get settled in his arms before pecking the crown of your head and falling asleep himself
-he gets distracted by hsi work sometimes and forgets he gets to go home and see you, but when it gets later the thought definitely consumes hs mind, wondering if you ate dinner, if you’re sleeping well
-he hurries home because he wants to make sure you’re okay and finally join you for sleep
-when he slides into bed and you move to wrap your arms around his torso his cheeks immediately dust a light pink
-he tries to push it away by getting angry at how revealing your pajamas are... but.. it’s just the two of you...
-he still thinks it’s absolutely adorable and will turn onto his side and throw his arm over your waist
-he quickly kisses your cheek before pulling away and burying his blushing scowling face in your neck

■ Very relaxed and laid back around you he alsodoesn’t argue with you much at least not to the extent of raising his voice atyou, if there are disagreements between the two of you, he keeps a rather levelhead and will talk things out peacefully. However, if you do tend to bestubborn or hostile when it comes to arguments, he can get agitated and snippywith you just to try and get his point across.
■ He is not very romantic or even all that sweet withgestures towards you in the relationship, not so much because he doesn’t wantto be but because he doesn’t really know how and finds it embarrassing. Even timeswhen he does nice things for you or gets you a present, he finds itembarrassing and tends to give you a present and walk away.
■ That doesn’t mean he won’t be thoughtful becausehe does pay close attention to you and remembers things you like and collect orwhat your hobbies are, which allows him to come up with special or meaningfulgifts especially for special occasions or for your birthday or certain holidaysor practically any occasion where he knows you are expecting or hoping for agift.
■ Law does not like PDA and will be quite opposedto it and finds it embarrassing, and even more so if you point out that he’sembarrassed. At times he can be more accepting of affectionate acts such as ifyou hug him in public but in a place where it’s not very busy or crowded or aslong as it’s not drawing much attention, he’ll tolerate it. But he may physicallystop you, resist you or push you away in more crowded or busy places or if youare creating a scene.
■ In fact, it he can be rather shy towards you whenit comes to affectionate acts even when the two of you are alone, especiallyearly on in the relationship. Particularly if you are very affectionate orclingy towards him, he will get use to it and will come around, but initiallyif you hug him often or cling to him, he can be resistant and even distancehimself a bit.
■ Even though he may not act like it once he fallsfor you, he really cares about your safety and well being and he can be very protectiveover you, even to the extent of being over protective of you at times. Becomingthreatening or hostile towards people he doesn’t like or trust that you know,or towards strangers that flirt with you. Or absolutely anyone be it strangers,friends or family that bully, criticize or talk badly of you he’s quick tostand up and defend you. However, he can be extremely rude or potentiallyphysically harmful to the person depending on the situation.
■ He enjoys being around you and spending time withyou but does prefer quieter and more laid-back activities and more secluded places,because he will not like spending time with you in busy and crowded places. Buthe is rather open to doing anything or going anywhere with you if he knows itssomething you really want. But he will prefer things like going to small cafes,sightseeing, the zoo, museums or staying home, things like amusement parks, thebeach, water parks, fancy restaurant etc really won’t be his kind of thing.
■ Even though he’s not very cuddly or romantic withyou the longer the two of you are together he will slowly become more and morecomfortable with being affectionate. But even then, the two of you will need tobe alone before he’ll instigate any kind of affectionate acts with you, he willhug you occasionally and will like any time you are affectionate towards him.He likes holding hands with you and does have a tendency to lean against you orlay his head on your lap.

■ It takes him awhile to warm up to you and really becomecomfortable around you and actually open up to you as well. Which means he isnot very affectionate or loving towards you at the beginning of therelationship and may even seem cold or distant at times. You may have to berather persistent with him to get him to open up and trust you, and even pursuehim a bit before he really comes around to you.
■ Once he does come around to you and becomes comfortablewith you, he’ll enjoy your company, just being around you and talking with you,he’s not always the most talkative and prefers to listen to you talk anyways.He also has a great memory and remembers a great deal about you, far more thanyou would expect him to.
■ He is not very loving or affectionate towards youin the beginning but he will get there, however at no point is he reallycomfortable with PDA and prefers that any affections between the two of you iswhen the two of you are alone, but that doesn’t mean he’s 100% against PDAespecially if you start it such as if you hug him or hold his hand. He may evenrespond positively depending on the situation and where the two of you are.
■ When he is affectionate towards you it’s in moresubtle ways when the two of you are home, holding your hand when you aresitting next to him, surprise hugging you from behind, he also develops thehabit of kissing your forehead or cheek especially when he’s greeting you orsaying good bye to you.
■ He can be more affectionate towards you at timeswhen you are upset, sad or something seems to be bothering you, because he willtry to comfort you and make you feel better. He we never like seeing you sad orupset for any reason and he can even become angry or agitated depending on whatupset you, especially if he feels like he can do something about it, such as ifsomeone said something to you to upset you, it’s likely he’ll want to confrontthe person about it.
■ Lucci is very protective over you and quick tojump to defend or protect you from any situation, generally he will be rather peacefulabout diffusing arguments or calming situations especially when they’re notvery serious or dangerous situations. But if someone threatens you, upsets youor hurts you in any way, be in emotionally or physically he can become enraged inmoments where he can become extremely hostile, and physically dangerous to theperson who hurt you, and he can be extremely merciless.
■ He can even get jealous rather easily and willnot like the idea of you spending a lot of time around others even if they arefriends or even family, and he can become very agitated when he is becomingjealous. It can even make him distance himself from you a bit if he feels likeyou are choosing to spend time with others over him.
■ While he isn’t particularly romantic, he is very thoughtfuland shows a very caring and considerate side towards you and only you, meaningaround friends or family he will come across as cold, distant and even rude ormean. But when he’s around just you you’ll see a much more relaxed and lovingside.
■ He pays close attention to things you like and what your hobbies areas well as things going on in your life and things you want to do in thefuture. He’ll plan trips or dates around places you want to go or things youwant to try, and will get you special presents and gifts sometimes for holidaysor special occasions and other times completely out of the blue.

it had been hours since you last saw lucci- he had graciously allowed you to go to work with him as long as you promised to stay in his office. it really wasn't bad, it's a big room and the furniture is high quality and comfortable, lucci had left you with a sweet kiss to your cheek before he left the room hours ago. yup, everything had been going great, until someone, a certain prideful insecure annoying man, possibly by the name of jabra, decided to grace you with his presence and stride into the room with his familiar flirty smile that always appeared around you.
"i'm just saying there are a lot of better choices! in cp9 too!"
jabra's voice climbed an octave as he threw his hands up trying to express his argument- that there are far better potential boyfriends for you, that aren't lucci. more specifically speaking he was talking about himself, as he always is when it comes to comparing who's better at something. you sat on a couch pushed against the wall of lucci's office, fiddling with the hem of your shirt and giving occasional hums making it seem like you were listening to jabra's rant. after hours of lucci missing -busy in a meeting with some world government guys- and a solid excruciating hour and a half of jabra's flirting turned complaining, you desperately wanted to see your man.
and, it just so happened, that he wanted to see you too. he often did, if he was being completely honest with himself. especially after angering meeting like the one he just had, he was trying to keep his mouth shut while he listened to his superiors argue over the most unimportant matters then propose the stupidest ideas and solutions. now he was finally able to leave and head back to his office where you were (hopefully) waiting for him.
lucci's steps echoed in the hall and the agents unfortunate enough to be there going wherever, parted hurriedly when he passed- they always do that anyway but now there were extra whispers of "he looks more angry than usual" which was true- he was mor eannoyed than usual. and approaching the large double doors to his office only to hear jabra's voice coming from inside, did not help one bit.
he pushed open the door and took slight comfort in the way your face lit up when you saw him. jabra glared at him crossly and was met with a glare of equal annoyance from lucci.
"get lost."
his pearl colored eyes flicked to jabra, his face expressing the same lack of emotion as always- now coupled with a little extra irritation.
"you can't tell me what to do."
"it's my office. and yes i can."
after what felt like ten minutes of a staring contest between the two trying to assert dominance over the situation, jabra grunted and slipped his hands into his pockets before walking out. lucci shut the doors quickly and silence overtook the room while he made his way to his desk sitting down with a barely audible sigh, hattori flew off his shoulder to perch on his own mini desk hanging on a swing-like platform in the corner
you waited patiently on the couch tinkering with your hands while looking at your boyfriend with an expectant excitement. lucci looked up from his desk glaring at you, then he pinched the bridge of his nose and outstretched his arm, gesturing for you to go over to him.
you happily got up and scurried across the room to where lucci had pulled away from his desk giving you enough room to crawl onto his lap. one you were settled, straddling the agent's lap with your hands intertwined behind his neck and his arms snaking around your waist loosely, you nuzzled your nose against his cheek to then whisper the following, "how was your meeting baby?"
lucci exhaled through his nose and glanced to the side at you, his piercing gaze running over your features. he leaned down slightly and his lips met your cheek pushing into the flesh faintly and lingering as he closed his eyes finally feeling some sort of relaxation and antonym of annoyance.
"same as always. did you have fun with jabra?"
there was a teeny bit of anger, jealousy, and irritation simultaneously hidden in his question and voice.
"of course, we're planning to overthrow the government next wednesday and we have a lunch date tomorrow to dicuss your place in our plans for the future."
the dark haired man side-eyed you in annoyance, finding no more humor in your joke than the first time you had said it in hopes of making him laugh.
one of his arms tightened around your waist and his other hand traveled up your back resting in between your shoulder blades to push you closer to him. his lips neared your ear and you could feel his hot breath fanning the side of your face as he vexatiously whispered,
"we both know you wouldn't be able to get past me."
and his lips met yours in a deep, yet soft, kiss- one that he realized he had been craving ever since the meeting started, it was always the perfect thing to cheer him up.

So I had a few different ideas on how this would go, but this is the most accurate one I think-
So at first Lucci was denying his feelings, he didn’t even think they were feelings because he’s never really felt them. He literally just thought he hated you, and he acted like it too. But eventually he realized he did have feeling for you and when Lucci wants something he gets it
At first it was like one of those “friendships” when you think the other person hates you. Lucci would linger around you but wouldn’t really talk, when he did it was to offer something, ask your opinion, it just wasn’t really ever small talk
When he overheard that Sabo also liked you, that made Lucci realize he needs to step up his game
He would start secretly leaving little gifts for you, making sure no one would be able to trace it back to him. Ussually it would be flowers, sometimes there’s a bracelet or necklace, clothes too occasionally
Lucci thought you would pick up on his feelings for you because of how he would always stand close to you and compliement you each time he saw you- small and simple compliments such as “You look nice today” or “That dress looks beautiful on you”. Not to mention he was less obnoxious and self-indulged around you, he actually seemed to listen and pay attention to you
When he saw that you had still not realized out his feelings, not only that but you had also been spending even more time with Sabo. The two of you actually acted like friends and. as much as Lucci despised to say it, you looked good with Sabo- but you would look better with him
Lucci is very observant, he noticed how you seemed happier with Sabo, how you laughed around him and how you smiled around him, specifically what made you do those things. He would start being friendlier and trying to make you laugh and smile in his own “Lucci-way”
Whenever you were hanging out with Sabo, Lucci would figure out a way to get you away from him, ex: getting an assistant to say he needs you, telling you he has something for you, literally just coming in to purposely ruin the mood so he can “save” you
He tries to show off around you, more so when Sabo is around. The two have definitely sparred/dueled before, at least that’s what they called it when in fact they had actually been fighting
Lucci never openly told Sabo about his feelings, but he told you about Sabo’s feelings hoping that it would make your relationship with him awakward and you. would stop hanging out with him, so then Lucci could come and take his place

But he’s super busy, a total workaholic and he’ll get irritated easily if you try to start something while he’s working
