Gonna answer them backwards so I can put the scene under a cut.
7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree?
Most of the time I write in very brief sentences and small paragraphs because my ADHD can't focus if there's too many words on the page. I figure that if I get bored reading it (especially when I'm editing it) then I need to find a better way to express the thought. My writing may not be as descriptive or detailed as others but I'm here for a good time not for a long time 👍
Would others agree? (Idk)
3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)
Fun fact, I actually have a series of scenes like this that I just write whenever I feel like even though they have very little context and almost no purpose. But just for the fun of it, this time I will write a new one.
I've been wanting to write a scene where Harvey has to use a warp totem to sneak over to the farm to visit SJ, so here it is:
(loosely edited, please do not perceive typos)
----------------------------------------
'It's going to be fine. SJ does this all the time, it's perfectly safe.' Harvey thought to himself as he stared at the small wooden object on his dining room table.
This wouldn't be his first experience using a warp totem, he and SJ had used them together several times now, but this would be his first time using one on his own. Teleportation was still something Harvey wasn't quite used to. As a man of science, he still couldn't fathom how he could spontaneously disappear from one location, and reappear in another in less than a second.
Ever since the townspeople had become suspicious of the nature of his relationship with the farmer, he couldn't be seen on his way to the farmhouse anymore. So, SJ came up with the brilliant solution to make some farm warp totems for Harvey to use on date nights.
Harvey reached out with a shaky hand, trying to remember if he had everything he needed as he carefully picked the totem up off the table. It was a simple procedure, hold the totem and crush it between your fingers to travel to your destination. Each totem was imbued with all the necessary properties to go to one specific location one time. All totems were destroyed upon use.
SJ told him of one unfortunate incident where she fell in the mines and accidentally crushed a beach totem in her backpack, which promptly teleported her away.
Harvey took a deep breath, before squeezing the totem with all his might. It crumbled into pieces with a loud 'crack'.
With a bright flash of light and a sharp gust of wind, Harvey found himself standing in the middle of a forest. His heart still raced from the adrenaline of teleportation, he took a moment to breathe and calm himself down. He almost wondered if she had given him the wrong totem, but when he heard the familiar bark of Rocky, the Atlantis Farm dog, he knew he was in the right place.
Soon after, he heard a voice call out his name.
"Harvey!" SJ waved.
"Hey!" He breathed, making his way over to her. "I did it!"
"You did it!" she grinned, stretching up for a quick peck on the lips. "How did it go?"
"It went just fine. I think you're right, this might actually work."
"Awesome. I hope you're hungry, dinner's in the oven." she said, nodding towards the house beyond the trees.
"Looking forward to it." he replied, reaching for her hand and lacing their fingers together for their walk to the farmhouse.
Hello, hehe! Thank you for asking! 🥰
I’m gonna answer 27 separately because I have an ask for both Lily and Ronnie with that number, so I’m going to make a single post! 💫
4) What professions would they choose at levels five and ten for each skill.
Definitely the most remunerative ones! Listen, Lily ain’t caring about money that much, but she would rather count stars than cash- she doesn’t want any worries or surprises! Y’know?
Let’s face it, she wants the money to buy chickens
Farming: Tiller | Artisan
Mining: Geologist | Gemologist
Foraging: Gatherer | Botanist
Fishing: Fisher | Angler
Combat: Fighter | Defender (the most neglected one eh)
🗝 What would you consider your perfect set up to get your creativity flowing?
Listening to the rain pouring outside the window (bonus points if it's a thunderstorm), a cold drink or maybe a snack, a comfy bed and Lo-fi on my headphones. No interruptions. I usually have at least one of those things but the no interruptions is rare XD
🪞 How much of yourself do you often see reflected in your writing? Is it often on purpose or more subconscious?
With my main characters? More than I care to admit. There are a lot of similarities and a lot of differences between me and SJ (examples: I'm ace, I am a programmer, and I have a drone for aerial photography). It used to be intentional, but now it's just subconscious, I do it without even really realizing it until after it's written. Of course some of it is made up or just wishful thinking on my part, but there's a reason why I get really excited when people say they like my characters because there's pieces of me written into all of them.
Oh my word, this was a TOUGH one! I’ve answered my fair share of “songs you like”, “songs that are chill”, “songs that make you happy”, etc. I’ve yet to really think about what songs describe ME. I’m sure I’m missing obvious choices, but these are the five that first came to my mind, so... let’s go with it.

88. your greatest wish?
Honestly? Right now it’s just for covid to end and life to relatively go back to normal. I know “normal” is probably a loooong ways off, but dangit, it would at least be nice for the kiddo to go back to school and for us to be able to leave the house for more than a necessary grocery trip. Who knew before this started that my greatest wish would be something as simple as my daughter going to school and me to occasionally go to a coffee shop. A seemingly simple wish, but one I’d give anything for right about now.
13 - favorite perfume/cologne?
I’m about to give the world’s most boring answer in the world. None. My nose is a bit sensitive and so is my daughter’s so heavy perfumes or cologne actually irritate my nose and I can’t stand it. Though I’m a firm believer in the idea that people just have their own natural scent and that can be intoxicating. One of my favorite smells in the world is my husband’s natural scent with no cologne or extra bullshit. You can’t bottle that kinda comfort smell.
26 - do you believe in soulmates?
Dang, I’m really giving boring answers on this one! XD Nope, I don’t really believe in the whole ‘there’s one and only one soulmate out there for someone’. I love my husband... SO much. We’re best friends and we click on so much. I do feel complete with him. We are not soulmates. If we had never met, I don’t think we’d have this big, empty hole in our life that would never be fulfilled without having the other in our life. I think more likely he’d have found someone else he also gets along with very well and has a lot in common with and I’d have done the same. Our hearts wouldn’t feel shallow or empty without the other in our life, we’d have just found someone else that fulfills us in different ways. No one will ever love me or complete me the way he does, but that doesn’t mean someone can’t complete me in a different way. I’ve always felt this viewpoint is a solid reason why I will never understand Soulmate AU fics. Not knocking them at all, I know they’re wildly popular, but dang I just can’t wrap my head around it.
omfg, some of these answers I’m giving today, I’m coming across so cynical. XD Oops. I swear I’m a fan of love and romance, I swear.
