The Veritine cardinals made a great voice with this one-- a well-liked, highly experienced missionary with a great talent for diplomacy. Unfortunately, a seagull dropped a large rock on his head during his first public appearance as pope. Now he believes he can receive messages directly from God, and his decisions are completely unpredictable and likely unguided by any compass greater than simple impulse.
