Hi, I love your tumblr. Could you tell me the difference between daxiushan and dachang? They look the same to me because many dachang have big sleeve and all daxiushan have open front to me. Also, how to distinguish them from beizi? Is it that beizi is shorter and have smaller sleeve? If so, how short is considered a good length for beizi and how small for the sleeve? Thank you so much.
Hi, I’m glad you love my tumblr!
The following two posts address the differences between daxiushan, dachang, and beizi, please check them out!:

As for what is considered a good length and sleeve size for beizi - I’ll redirect this to @fouryearsofshades and @hanfu-asks, as they have more knowledge on tailoring and making hanfu.
Hope this helps!
