I got so many sweet comments on what I posted for QuiObi May the Fourth exchange and it’s so dumb but like over the past, idk, 8 or so months I’ve really lost faith in myself as a writer or as a creator in general and I wasn’t expecting so much positive feedback for my short little creation that I really didn’t think was going to be up to par with everyone else’s creations and I just need to take a minute to cry a bit

I have a lot of works that I should be working on (CLONE WARS AU that I’ve fucking stalled on)

but tonight I’m banging out an AllEraserMic soulmate idea that’s been stuck in my head and I’m HYPE about it. Ready to put out my first contribution to MHA fanfic

Sometimes when I’m writing, it’s this constant battle between “realistically, due to their personalities or what canonically happened, this is what would go next” and “okay but I’m writing fanfiction just to make me happy so I literally do not care”

Like I love most of the canon source material for the fandoms I write for, but I also won’t hesitate to burn it if I want to write some mindless fluff to make me feel good

Was going to write today but I’m in a considerable amount of pain so I’m taking a sick day  😭 hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow!

I have things in the queue! And I’m gaining new followers <3

I do intend to keep this blog mostly writing focused, and create a secondary blog just for fandom stuff. It will make me feel better that way! I’ll let y’all know when I create it.

I have scheduled myself times to write! I am working on If Not For You right now (my Clone Wars AU), as well as adding chapters to my QuiObi kink collection and writing one shots. Also working on some ZsaszMask! I would like to update my about me page with what I intend on working on in the future, all that good stuff. 

I have so much in store, and I’m happy to write and produce content a bit more regularly!

I’m trying to be good about sticking to a writing schedule!

The past couple of months have been a little stressful due to some emergency vet stuff and roommate leaving/searching for a new place with my new roommates

But I’m hoping now that most of it’s done, and I work the same schedule every week, I can motivate myself to write at a better pace on my days off.

I think this Tumblr will help me, especially if I keep gaining followers <3 I can post WIPs and prompts and answer asks. 

I would ideally like to post one chapter a week of whatever big piece I’m working on (currently If Not For You), and then an additional short piece.

It’s a lofty goal, but I have so many things I’d like to write, across various fandoms and pairings!

Today I learned about the difference between carat and karat and how you can substitute carat for karat when talking about gold, but you can’t substitute karat for carat when you’re talking about diamonds

All because I wrote one throwaway line about sheets woven with 24K gold (which are a real thing).

Finally wrote something on my About Me page, time to post an actual story!
