Jak never thought his life would turn out like this, when he was young he always expected to live a boring and safe life. He could not have been more wrong. It took ages for him to come to terms with his past, feeling like he wasn't human any more after having such horrendous experiments done on him, but finally he decided not to let that rule his life. He could still remember sitting in a bar, listening to two men talking about a treasure they'd been searching for for years, his ears perking up under his hoodie. He listened carefully as the men went on for hours about this amazing tale and how they may just never find it. That was the first treasure Jak ever found, having spent months researching it and almost two years hunting it down. But he found it, and it was then he knew what the rest of his life was going to be. Dangerous, and thrilling. After a few more years as a treasure hunter he found himself running into another hunter several times, in fact on more than one occasion they'd come to find the same treasure at the exact same time. After much arguing they decided to split it as best they could and move on. It almost became habit, they'd see each other, argue, and always come to the same decision of splitting it. That's why Jak wasn't at all surprised to see Jean in the bar he'd just walked into, huffing a bit as he walked over and sat next to him, ordering himself a drink. "Well, fancy seeing you here." He said flatly, glancing over at the blond. "You're not getting my treasure this time~"
