From Catacombs to Cappuccinos: The End (for Now)

And just like that… the catacombs are closed, the book’s gone, and somehow, we’re all still standing (barely).

Who would’ve guessed our cursed little scavenger hunt would lead to actual magic, a half-mad professor’s redemption arc, and me—Lucky Fortuna—finally being taken seriously. (Okay, semi seriously.)

To the crew: thanks for trusting me even when I led us down the wrong corridor—twice. To Iris: we’ve got a long road, but I see you trying. To Professor H: still side-eyeing you, but Nonna’s forgiven you, so I guess I can too. Just don’t make me cry at Archi’s, I swear.

The book may be ash, but the bonds? Solid. What started as a wild goose chase became something way bigger—our first real adventure. I’ve got a feeling it won’t be the last.

To everyone who followed the chaos: grazie. You made this ride even better.

Do you have any LWD/Dasey blog recommendations? :)

Hi there!

A few blogs dedicated to dasey are still somewhat active such as: @dasey @daseyandconfused @incorrectlifewithderek - they have a lot of older content to look through as well (for older content, there is also my old dasey blog @forcefieldactivated but it is no longer active)

Though active content maker (gifs, etc) are even more rare, and aren’t dedicated strictly to dasey. Actually, the only one I know of in recent memory is: @raqunzel

There are a few fanfic writers on here who are pretty present too! Dasey is not necessarily their only focus, but it’s pretty close: @wroteathingtoday @dasey2020 @eyescllsed @isinkwiththeship @wapusoq

Of course I’m probably forgetting people so you can also check out my “following” list as most of the people I follow are lwd/dasey fans as well! (Like 80-90%)

Just curious, but does rdj ever get his picture taken by paparazzi and we just don't see it often or is he just really really good at going incognito and stays home a ton?

yeah he gets his picture taken pretty often. just this year we saw pics of him:

shopping in london while wearing capris??? and purple socks????

looking like a grandma while at disney with the fam

channeling frumpy grandpa vibes while biking with giant grocery bags balanced on the handlebars in the hamptons

he used to get photographed a lot more, but i think paps just go after celebs depending on how much the celeb has going for them at the time. and bob does go incognito a lot just by...dressing like a colorful hobo instead of the millionaire he really is.

Thoughts? I'm still pissed off but less than yesterday ��. Tony and Pepper and Morgan deserved better and I hope I never see another movie by the Russo's or Markus & McFeely with their blatant favoritism toward Steve. He literally got everything he wanted and lost nothing. No consequences for Steve.

It's a small comfort, but at least Tony went out like a true badass. He is THE greatest hero in the MCU, saved everyone.

generally i loved this movie and i really think it will change cinematic history forever. i feel like this was a culmination which we cant really argue with.

with that said, i was really reeeeaaaally pissed and an absolute mess at the scene of tony's... well, nope, it won't even come out. im not ready to talk about it yet after all... but you know what, when steve had his "goodbye" moment too, i felt JUSTICE. i really thought tony (well and natasha) would be the only one who is gone, but steve is gone as well. they both kind of got similar stories, found the love of their lifes and "got old" with them. in steve case, he really got very old and had his life in the past, but with tony.. he had a daughter with pepper. which, i won't lie to you, was something i wanted more than anything since steve asked if pepper's pregnant in civil war. i was hoping it would be at the end of the movie, but now with tony gone, his daughter may play a big part in future MCU movies, and i mean really a big part AND IM SO HAPPY WITH THAT. and OH MY GOD, pepper!!! pepper.... it was everything i could have wanted for her character. OF COURSE i would've prefered if they were happy together and got to raise their kid in peace, but when i saw the child plot develop so quickly, deep down i already knew he was gonna die....

either way, i hate russos for doing one thing... for making me understand their decision. it would be easier to hate them for what they did but i really think the most heroic act was saved especially for tony because ultimately he was the one who should save everyone in the end. there was never any other option, he was the beginning of the MCU, the father, HE WAS MCU. he is iron man. it was perfect. painful but perfect.

BUT......

i cant say the same thing about black widow. i really do not understand that decision. i mean, someone had to die, i know, but at this point we have natasha dead and a bunch of other characters who can't really do much at this point. bruce is alive, thor is alive... i don't mean i wish they were dead but their stories are over as well. why natasha? why? out of everyone? why her? i really do see all the poetic reasons behind tony's death but i see none behind hers. well i have so much more to say about this but it would be too long haha.. but i think this covers the most important topics

LMFAO! Guess who just got her boyfriend's initial on her (ring?) finger? Lottie did. Now whether or not people think its a good idea to get your SO's initial on your body somewhere or that Lottie is really young, it'll be interesting to see how/if the larries gush and praise lottie over this, but deny reality seeing as how Louis & El did the same thing.

That’s pretty uncanny they’d get that after Louis/Eleanor did......

Pushing = hitting. Especially with the size/strength difference between Danielle and Louis. If that person feels like they have to split hairs to pick at the tiny tiny difference then there's a problem. There is no "Well it wasn't that bad so ___". Pushing is aggressive behavior that isn't okay for a grown man to do to his girlfriend. That kind of rumor does nothing but make Louis sound like a sorry excuse for a man who treats women like trash.

I can understand your perspective but honestly as of right now I cannot get over my bitterness that Steve literally got everything he ever wanted & sacrificed nothing. Morgan has to grow up without her father & Pepper lost her husband. The writers could have made the story end differently, with Cap sacrificing his life to end Thanos & Tony deciding to take on a new journey to be w/ his family. It's cruel to end Tony's story that way IMO.

look at it that way...NO ONE can ever tell you now that steve was the most important avenger. TONY figured out time travel (even bruce couldn't do it) TONY SNAPPED A FREAKING INFINITY GAUNTLET, it was TONY who saved everyone and who had a multiple confirmations that he's a genious and a hero and i don't need any other proof. no cap stan can ever fight me on that lmao.
