I’ve done my best work in my jammies, but I’ve aged a decade in a year, ah but at least we’re still alive! #luckyones 2020 has been a year at home, #cocooned, #creative and #protective of myself and others that I ❤️ and for almost a year now, coming out into the light of day only to support my causes of choice and necessities like #VOTING, #PROTESTING the #BLMmovement, #food, #rent, getting #tested and catching joyous moments whenever Ben & I could in a year of sequestered & isolated sadness, uncertainty & death, and the eradication of stupidity in a country gone bad by mad kings! But I kept my faith in my beneficent GOD and the ultimate goodness of the #MAJORITY of Americans... and thank GOD I wasn’t wrong! 2021 isn’t the remedy, it can be the beginning of building back stronger with a renewed sense of vigilance for justice and truly Democratic ideals and an enthusiasm for a country in transition and evolution from it’s old white decadence with its antiquated methods of subjugating the masses, to a nation exemplifying the principals that once made us truly great, where inclusion and diversity were welcomed! Yes, I can’t wait to get out of my jammies like the battered butterfly that I am, yearning to participate in this new cultural, societal revolution!
