It's been a long 2 years, but I finally have my licence from HM Treasury to use discontinued UK coins in my designs. So here is my first design. A real circulated silver coloured sixpence coin that has been hand polished and curved using hand tools. It has been layered on a hammered aluminium disc that has been punched from a sheet of raw recycled aluminium. This is to help keep the coin away from your skin while being worn. The aluminium is lightweight hypoallergenic and will not turn your skin green or turn a funny colour over time either. It is finished with a stainless bail and chain, that again will not turn skin green or change colour with wear. The size of this pendant is roughly the same size as a £1 coin. The left design is of coins dated 1953-1970 and the right design is of coins dated 1948- 1952.
