Valloween is fast approaching, and it's LGBT History month, so I guess it's time to remind you I have these little anatomical hearts on my website! As well as my usual Pride flag hearts, (and £1 from every sale going to an LGBTQ+ charity - this year's to be decided soon!), I'm also making up some random coloured dudes, (for the lady who asked me if I will ever have any """normal""" hearts 🙄😏). These little hearts are approximately 3" (10cm) in diameter and are perfect letter box gifts for someone you love, like or barely tolerate. Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.

There are times when  didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. it was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you are so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.

These days I'm stressed, thinking alot about stuffs that are not certain or stable. I am not depressed and these is not meant to be a depression essay or whatever, I am expressing my inner thoughts which I bury deep inside me but sometimes I feel like completely lost and if I could just share some stuffs mayb I would do better or feel lighter.

You know whenever you read a cancer booklet or website or whatever, they always list up depression among the side effects of cancer. But in fact, depression is not a side effect of cancer. Depression is a side effect of dying. And mayb I am dying. I smile ,I make lame jokes and somehow manage to make people laugh at those but this is what I truly am (a pathetic loser).

I am loosing a lot of weight recently ,can't eat and I can't sleep. I'm not doing well in terms of being a functional human, yet somehow surviving. Never wanted to be a burden to anyone,but end up being the one.Never been the good child to my parents, never been a good friend to anyone honestly and never could I succeed anyone's expectations.

It’s the first day of ‘March Meet The Maker’ on Instagram, but I thought it would be nice to share on Tumblr too ...

The prompt today is ‘Story’.

So here goes ... Hi ... 👋 My name is Erin, full time mum, drinker of tea, gardener, baker, homesteader and lover of everything handmade.

I live in the Highlands of Scotland with my husband and 4 children, where we all enjoy the country life.

Most days you'll find us outside in the garden planting or harvesting and caring for our animals.

We try our best to be as self sufficient as possibly and we love to grow healthy organic food.

As a stay at home mum, I really struggled to find time for myself (I’m sure it’s a familiar story) and turned to crafting in the evenings as a way to relax and unwind.

I enjoyed it so much, I soon found myself buried in wool, sparkly beads and more buttons than I knew what to do with.

So after some gentle prompting and encouragement from my family, I set about opening our homestead craft shop. Here I like to make lots of different things and love to try new crafting skills.

It’s been a happy journey so far and through our craft shop and the craft fairs we attend, I’ve met some really lovely people and made treasured new friendships.

This is the first time I’ve joined in with ‘Meet The Maker’ and I’m excited to be part of this event. Looking forward to following and meeting you all ... Erin X 👋😃

Today is @justacard indie week. Today's theme is 'you' . I'm not showing my face today, due to lack of sleep😝, so here is what I do. Hand embroidery, mostly on jewellery. I love working small, I hate repeating work so most things are one of a kind. I have also written a book on thread painting, my favourite type of embroidery. Also I work and teach part time at the Royal School of Needlework. Just a card is about supporting independent artists and encouraging people to shop small in a corporate world.
