Opinion on;

Character in general: I’m not sure if I should dare to even talk about Luhan and how intricate he is.. The way he was written and how thought out he is.. It’s just a whole different level that I don’t think I will ever be. I’m not saying this just because, but I actually adored that he had such a past, but was able to use that to become who he is. He also seems to have a lot going on in his mind, which I really can notice through the interactions he has with other muses and through the writing. Because I do like to write out a lot of internal musings myself, I really liked seeing what was going through his mind.

How they play them: If I had to narrow that down to two words, it would be flawlessly & effortlessly. First thing first, the writing really helps to emphasize the complex behavior Luhan has. It might be the mun's style of writing, but I found it really helpful since it added onto his character.

The Mun: Not even going to lie, I was so intimidated to talk to the mun. Not only did they have a muse that was so well thought out, their sense of ideas (from reading their plots that were previously up) was just.. Astounding. I thought that I wasn't able to add to the plot and that really worried me. But I talked to the mun and they were professional & was willing to really work with you on something that would work best for the muses. We haven't talked a whole lot just yet, but I really would love to get to know them a little more.

Overall Opinion: If you have yet to play with Luhan, you're missing out. Seriously, follow the blog and be amazed at Luhan himself and the writing that follows. It inspires & motivates me to write, so who knows, it might do it for you, too = u = b

Soft sigh joined the symphony of raindrops beating against her umbrella. There was something about the rain that left her in a state of confliction — it soothed her in ways nothing else could on days when she couldn’t lift her head, but at the same time, the tears of the sky seemed as if it was crying at the idea of having Satan’s child walk around its scared grounds. Perhaps it was a sign that God loathed her existence, but couldn’t take actions for her demise; maybe it was the devil aiding her by washing away the crimson blood from her hands.

But the tinge of guilt & pity only lingered for a brief moment until her gaze landed on a familiar figure standing under the pouring of rain. His expression could not be read (was it of anguish?) and he didn’t move. It was as if he had been under a spell that prevented him from taking shelter & comfort. It seemed as if he was… Punishing himself.

"You’re going to catch a cold."

Umbrella tipped to shield him from the cold, taking a share of his punishment onto her shoulders. Eyes were fixated onto his, no explanation given to him for her course of actions. Even Kiyomi wasn’t quite sure of her reason; it simply felt like the right thing to do in such situations. They could return to whatever relationship they had before after this encounter, but for now, it was cease fire.

Poverty. He's seen people scrounging for coins for a single meal ( if it can be called that ) while he ate an exquisite five star dinner, and has watched his own father spit arrogantly on the shoes of those who only have the clothes on their backs and the items in their bags. It's disgusting, he thinks, that someone who earns money by sitting in a chair can so profoundly stomp on someone who work their lives away just to be able to survive, even in such modern times.

He's among the few people that he knows of his status that actually hates the huge divide between the rich and the poor, and his name is often found among the largest of donations to a multitude of charities. In fact, he finds his own amount of wealth rather repulsive, and chooses to use it for the good of others rather than himself, because in his mind, there are others out there who deserve it far more than he does.

Busted: Your character will catch mine doing something they shouldn’t.

One faithful Sunday evening, just hours before his Medical Board Exam, Kyungsoo’s veins itched for some caffeine in his system. It was late, 2:30AM to be exact and he was still reviewing like the madman that he is to make sure he got every topic covered, learnt, absorbed. Med students lived half and half to survive— not the beverage to be exact, which was lighter than cream but fuller than milk. But half on caffeine-filled drinks and half on blood, sweat, and tears. It was part of the routine, a modest commitment to stay physically awake, alive, at any hour, pumping the energy to have that last few page. Just one last page. Just another last page. And another. Until it ends at 5AM from reading a thick book on Human Anatomy and Physiology cover to cover. It would be funny for a typical person to do that, but for students like them, whose mindset is to finish no matter how harsh the conditions were. It is the perfect reason why the lives of students in this field are considered special; they are contemporary beings with extraordinary capabilities.

But for Kyungsoo, he had difficulty balancing this with the social life he slowly gained during his senior year. He had been through a lot of experiences, firsts, and most especially, awakened to the real college life of parties, booze, and even drugs. As the clock struck 3, he searched for coffee at his place but finds none. Not even a small packet of tea to help him stay awake. He still had one handout to read, and he vowed not to sleep until he read it. He resorts to the last option on his list, which was good ol’ Mary Jane. He knocked on his dealer’s doorstep, an occasional guy he’d visit, and got his small ziploc-filled item. Upon receiving it, he immediately ran towards his room and prepares the joint. Taking a quick whiff from the rolled paper, having the freshly ground leaves’ scent fill the room with an alluring scent, Kyungsoo lets the psychoactive drug sink in his system as the cannabis drew its effects after a few minutes. When he was finished, he disposes the remnants of the matches, the papers, and the used burnt joints, except for one which was lit up and still stuck between his lips, into one paper bag then takes it outside.

His clothes smelled like smoke, as well as his breath. Anyone who was familiar with how the plant smelled like could easily identify the user’s previous consumption. Unlucky for him, as he ran out of his dorm’s room, he bumps shoulders with a doe-eyed man, serious in all his expression whilst probably taking some night rounds around the vicinity. Little did he know that it was Officer Han, a well-respected man which had a reputation for having an authoritarian tone at any emotion, uncompromising at any disobedience and ignorance of the laws of the state.

The man asks him what he has there, what stick was burning on his cavities. His eyes red from the dilated blood vessels. Obviously, the elder had a hunch on what it was, but chose to let him off the hook this time, since he had been losing sleep as well. The officer came to a conclusion that the young offender was high, with the way Kyungsoo’s speech slurred and the suspicious elation of the boy’s mood with the mention of anything school-related.

Kyungsoo spat out the joint on the ground before shooting the paper bag of evidences down to the trash, leaving him innocent with no trace on his hands except inside his body. “Sir, I beg to differ. A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking. And I got tired of thinking of ways to stay awake. You reached a conclusion to let me get away. Just this once, okay? Thanks.” And he ran off, never looking back at that mindless mistake he made with making a conversation with that person.
