     The Triwizard Tournament. For the longest time - rumors were after a student died - it had not been held, but it was back. And despite this being Lucy’s first time, she had heard so many stories about it already. It was almost inescapable being a Weasley, the bigger part of her family had been involved in the Tournament where the student had died. And now, she and her cousins were also right in the middle of it. It was quite exciting.

     And it became even more tangible when the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students had arrived. To enhance the inter-school friendships, their guests were - for the first time - staying in the dormitories, among the Hogwarts students. And some of the Beauxbaton girls had been assigned to Lucy’s dormitory. One name Clementine, one named Océanne. And Lucy was absolutely infatuated by the girls’ names. She is certain that they are going to be the best of friends.

     So when, at the feast that evening, the Beauxbaton girls are directed towards Lucy and her dorm-mates, the redhead smiles a bright smile at the two girls walking towards them. One of them has blue hair, which… kinda takes Lucy aback, but it didn’t dim her smile.

     “Hi!” She got up from the bench and held out her hand to the girl closest, the one with the blue hair. “I’m Lucy, you’ll be staying in our dormitory.”

     She had always been able to keep her grades at least someone decent, and in most of her subjects, she was still doing very well. It was just Defense Against the Dark Arts that she was failing, and she was failing it hard. She could already see the disappointment in her parents’ eyes, and there was no way she was going to go home with a Dreadful.

     So she had gathered up her courage and had trudged to the teachers’ lounge, knocking on the door and requesting to speak to her professor. She held her textbook in her arms, her bag dangling from her shoulder, and she was staring at the floor in front of him. None of her family had been this bad at Defense. In fact, most of them had excelled at the subject, with her uncle Harry, uncle Ron and aunt Hermione even leading the DA in teaching the other people when they had been at Hogwarts. Of course, her father had been quite good at all subjects as well, and her mother had been top of her class in Defense. So she had to get better.

     When she heard the door to the teachers’ lounger open once again, she looked up, giving the professor a weak smile. “I think I need some help with your subject,” she said in a soft voice.
