ok these r ocs i made, specifically for ovipets, & have this whole storyline so like

Jaxx is a burnt out ex-detective who was set up for a crime he didn’t commit, by his ex-partner. he spends a lot more time at bars now that he’s out of a job and seen as a crook

Dawson is Jaxx’s ex-partner, a dirty detective with connections to mafia and other such criminals. him setting Jaxx up basically ruined their private detective business and now he rarely ever does anything worthwhile

Lucy Anne is an ex-ally of Jaxx and Dawson, owner of a giftshop+saloon on the corner of a nasty neighborhood. she doesn’t keep contact with either of the two now

Agent Ryder & Detective Silver are, well, two halves of a whole idiot. they’re partners, secretly, and trying to figure out how to prove Jaxx was framed. if Ryder’s agency and Silver’s bosses found out they were doing this, they’d be fired and probably humiliated, so it’s kept quiet.
