William Taylor Baker was born and raised in the heart of Chicago, Illinois to two parents who probably shouldn’t of been parents. Robert & Gillian Baker got pregnant at the age of sixteen, and gave birth to their first and only child. A beautiful baby boy whom they decided to name William. Even though Robert & Gillian were young, they loved their son more than anything and had decided to keep him. Though the living situation wasn’t good, the couple was always fighting on and off, and they didn’t continue with school. Neither one had jobs, but having support from both sides of the family was good. When William was just 3 years old, Robert & Gillian had finally decided to call it quits. It broke Gillian’s heart, but she knew it was best and and wanted to do what was best for her son. William lived with his mother full time, and only got to see his father on the weekends. Some hostility & regret towards each other, it was never really fun to stay at his fathers alone while growing up. When William was in middle school and dated his first girlfriend, Amanda Borrows, he made a promise to her and himself that if they got married and had kids one day, their family wouldn’t be like his.
However, things between William and Amanda didn’t work out. Once William hit being a freshman in high school, that’s when it’s all changed for him. Getting into baseball, he was the star player and the best of the best. All the the girls wanted him and he had a grate group of friends, but the William had his eye only on one girl. Her name was Whitney Grayson, she was also a freshman and on the dance team. The two became friends through a mutual friend, and they’ve been together ever since. It took a while, but he finally got up the courage in the middle of freshman year and asked her to their winter dance. Still sticking to baseball, and being friends with his friends, and sticking to his studies, William and Whitney stuck together also.
After the both of them graduated with honors, and the two being at the top of their class, William and Whitney had both decided to go to NYU and study business. Lasting all throughout college, it wasn’t until after the two graduated that he finally proposed. When they had decided to have kids, the two agreed that wanting and having a big family is what the two of them really wanted and that’s exactly what they got.
Lucy Grace Baker was born on September 17th, back in 1988. She was the fourth and first girl of the Baker clan. Having three older brothers were a blessing and a curse. David was the first one to be welcomed into the Baker family, he was William & Whitney’s most proudest moment. Second was Rielly, and he was their golden boy, the one who would succeed the most. Their third and final boy was Owen, the accident baby but loved him just as much as the others. After the three boys were born, Whitney and William decided that three was enough just for now. However, Lucy was a complete accident. At a friends wedding, the two had a little too much to drink and they got the surprise next week that they were going to be having a fourth child. To their surprise this time though, it was a beautiful baby girl. William and Whitney couldn’t of been more in love and more excited. Of course, they decided to name her Lucy after Whitney’s great grandmother whom she was very close too. Lucy was their little ray of sunshine. Big beautiful blue eyes and a big beautiful smile from the moment she was born. Happiness beamed from every inch of her, and the blonde grew up never feeling alone. Having four built-in best friends was the best possible thing. She grew up tough, and was always running around and getting dirty in the mud with her older brothers. It was perfect, even though they picked on her constantly the three of them really did love their little sister.
Lucy got into dance at the age of six, preferably ballet and she loved it. Practiced non stop and taking it seriously, the girl grew up in the competition World and won almost every time. Thought ballet and dance were important to her, very important, school was the most important. For Lucy, it wasn’t easy being known as the Baker boys younger sister. People either loved her, or hated her while growing up. Sure, it was nice having three older brothers to protect you, but it was a huge surprise that William and Whitney announced when she was 8 that there would be another member joining the family. Lucy’s baby sister was born later that year, and the blonde couldn’t of been more excited to finally be a big sister, let alone have one.
The blonde was still dancing, but when Taylor was old enough the two got into singing. It wasn’t until Lucy’s freshman year of high school that she decided to try out for theater. Continuing with dance, and continuing to get good grades, Lucy fell in love with theater and the World around it. The stage was her home, where she felt the most alive. Her parents were proud and excited that their daughter had felt something she loved. Although, it wasn’t until her senior year of college that she got accepted into Juilliard, and decided to study ballet professionally. From the Windy City, to the Big Apple, Lucy decided to transfer from Juilliard to Brooklyn College after she broke her ankle freshman year. It was a long road of recovery mentally & physically. However transferring to Brooklyn College was the best decision she’s made, as she made a grate group of friends again the blonde studied hard and finally decided to major in Business and Interior Design. Graduating with honors, the blonde had gotten a job offer after a year of putting applications in and had found and decided to reside in Fordbay, in Canada. It felt strange at first, being this far away from her family but Lucy needed a fresh start. Taking a while, but finally getting there the thirty-two year old opened her own little shop called “Lucy’s Designs: Interior & More” and has been running it for two years.
