So I am currently obsessed with a play noone knows about, bc my school just did it for drama, so if anyone knows about Murder on the 518 and would like to chat about it, please I need more people for this

Unfortunately my school didn't put a recording of our production online, otherwise I'd direct you to it. There is one on YouTube if you want to watch it, but it's not great

The show itself is amazing though, especially if you get a good cast, bc they'll add to the script (so much of what made our show good wasn't necessarily in the script)

Its a train murder mystery comedy, please it's amazing

RQOTD: Which of your character's is good at blending in/going unnoticed without trying? Which character tends to stick out like a sore thumb?

My elephant memory (when it comes to my characters) remembers that I had actually already answered the first question in January 2020. :D So I’ll just copy-paste my answer from that time because I’m a lazy ass. :DD

Lucy’s shyness is a full part of her character. She has a stutter and doesn’t speak much, so she’s often dismissed as uninteresting or simply forgotten. She’d rather stay in the background than stand in the spotlight. Is it weird that she chose to become a ballerina anyway?

As for who tends to stick out like a sore thumb...

The first that comes to mind is Jay (incidentally, Lucy’s cousin :D). People always notice him somehow, because he’s a red head who talks in a loud voice, gesticulates despite being clumsy af and is dead set on ‘having a style’, which for him means wearing tribal earrings and street clothing (although he got back into line later because of his job as a real estate agent). His rebellious attitude doesn’t match his artlessness and heart of gold, and people tend to judge him too fast. His parents had enrolled him in a top high school where he didn’t feel like he belonged, and he decided to befriend Ash because he saw in him someone who didn’t belong either.

A close second would be Ulrich of course, but that’s because he doesn’t care for conventions. :D In fact, he felt mostly out of place in his family, and he actually used the exact same locution to express how he felt about it.

Rachel Klein did not have Rebecca (that's the only name I have for her) study vampires to hammer in Ernessa's vampire-ness.

Rebecca was mentally ill. From the very beginning, she had issues. Throughout the story, Rebecca's mental health declines as she starts losing her best friend Lucy to Ernessa. Because of this, Rebecca hates Ernessa. Rebecca demonizes Ernessa, makes her the reason why Rebecca's life goes downhill. Lucy's mental and physical health decline, which Rebecca also blames Ernessa for. As has been mentioned by many a reviewer, Rebecca learns about the vampire during the tragedies that take place around her. Rebecca latches onto the vampire, bringer of death and corrupter of virginal women, and puts Ernessa in the role. Stories of Carmilla and similar vampires fuel Rebecca's delusions. They were added to give the reader a reason for Rebecca jumping to the vampire conclusion. Nothing around Ernessa particularly screams vampire. None of the deaths appear to be vampire attacks (animal attack, falling off the roof, anorexia). But Rebecca still decides Ernessa is a vampire. Why? Because in Rebecca's mind, Ernessa is a monster. The vampire was the most recent monster Rebecca learned of.
