Having spent the last year and a half (slowly) working my way through the Bond series, I can say Timothy Dalton's is probably my favorite. And I felt super alone in that, so I'm glad you liked him too. :)

not only does he treat his ladies better, he’s also the closest to the perf bond in terms of looks/style. and i love both of his films’ side characters, villains, and plots, too! so sad he never stuck around for more than the two...
#(also btw i think of that granny weatherwax line ALL THE FUCKING TIME) Me too. There are a few lines that I think really sum up what the Discworld books are about as a whole, and that's one of them. When Pratchett has something to say, he usually lets Granny be the one to say it. Which I think is an incredibly important thing to keep in mind.
the way terry writes granny and nanny is SO FUCKING IMPORTANT because they're inverted mirrors of each other and compliment/contrast so well and he HANDLES THEM BOTH WITH SUCH ELEGANCE. the witches are SO MUCH, and the fact that granny as a single character is like this fucking unmovable linchpin of rock hard conviction and unyielding morality that holds so much of discworld and terry's philosophy together... it blows me away sometimes.
i want to be granny weatherwax (if i'm still around fifty years from now). we should ALL strive to be granny weatherwax.
