She’d been so angry, beyond even rational thought, which was likely the reason she had ended up here. Gods knows where, as she had no idea. But they’d been planning on marrying her to a Frey. Of all the houses, it had to be a Frey didn't it? They’d betrayed her family and killed her king and now her grandfather was pretending everything was alright, that they had always been friends with the Freys. But that was a lie. And she just couldn’t understand why he would betray her like that.
So yes she’d been rash, perhaps far to rash for her own good. She bought a boat, a small little sailing boat, inconspicuous for her to make her escape in. And she’d left, without a second thought, as anywhere was better than marrying a Frey. At first she had no idea where she would go, but then she remembered. Small pieces of information, courtiers gossip of how it was possible to sail around the wall. Sure the route would be dangerous, but she grew up on these waters, she loved them and she knew, well perhaps that was a slight too strong a word, she hoped that she would make it.
And now, somehow, against all odds she’d succeeded. Here she was in the middle of nowhere, without a soul in sight. But it was cold, so very cold. Of course she had expected this much and she’d worn her warmest clothes, well not her clothes per-say. As sailing in a dress would have likely ended up with her dead and drowned. But some serving boys outfit, she’d had it for a while now and it was time to finally put it to use. But even so she was freezing.
All that was left to do was to land her boat, a task easily accomplished and soon enough she was standing on the frozen ground, it was wonder the water hadn’t frozen over yet as well. And so all alone in this desolate place, she decided it was best to leave her boat and go find some shelter, build a fire. Her top priority was staying warm.
