Torn from flesh and claimed by no one, a stray blood echo lingers silently amongst the living. Between hunters and scholars, all of whom being no stranger to the Blood's virtue, there is promise that this dying will can find itself satiated.
Alas, the living are only human, feeble to the cosmos' delicacies. Ergo, what this echo witnesses makes it question if the will it encompasses is worth being fulfilled.

Sleeping Ask Meme
Oh, two excellent choices! Let's start with Smoughstein:
Who is a night owl:
Ornstein often has trouble sleeping, so he, but not really because he likes the night better, he literally suffers from insomnia. He often patrols the cathedral then.
Who is a morning person:
Smough because Ornstein is normally tired after having trouble falling asleep. But generally, they both just stay in bed and cuddle until they are ready to get up or are getting called on position.
Are they cuddlers:
Yes, 100 %. They cuddle a lot!
Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon:
Smough is the big spoon because he is significantly larger and wider than Ornstein. Fatty and Beanpole ahead.
What is their favourite sleeping position:
Normally Smough lies on his side and has one arm stretched out while Ornstein cuddles himself in this arm and in the chest of his boyfriend. It reminds Smough a little of a cat. They are face to face in this position.
Who steals all the blankets:
Ornstein gets cold more easily, but normally they just share one big blanket anyway.
What they wear to bed:
Nightshirts. The medieval kinds. Smough probably also wears a sleeping hat.
Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt:
Ornstein always ALWAYS steals Smough's clothes to wear them. Smough thinks he looks adorable.
Who falls asleep mid-conversation:
Ornstein.
Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares:
Also Ornstein. Obvious reasons. Poor man has some night terrors.
Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep:
That can happen to both of them, but because they are both really strong, it normally doesn't bother them too much. It would be different if one of them would bring their weapon to bed...
Who can’t keep their hands to themself:
Smough really likes to explore Ornstein's body. With his hands and his tongue.

Who is a night owl:
Laurence. It is so bad that he stays up three nights in a row and then crashes.
Who is a morning person:
Ludwig. He is used to getting up early for training.
Are they cuddlers:
Yeah totally. Or more, Laurence has a death grip on Ludwig while he sleeps. And because he tends to sleep for hours after a crash, Ludwig can get trapped. Laurence is surprisingly strong while he sleeps.
Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon:
Laurence is the big spoon with his aggressive sleep cuddling.
What is their favourite sleeping position:
Normally Ludwig lies on his back while Laurence is on his side, having grabbed one of his arms and refuses to let go.
Who steals all the blankets: Laurence because he is perpetually cold.
What they wear to bed: Standard victorian pajamas or nightshirts.
Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: They rarely share clothes. Laurence is to peculiar about his outfit and Ludwig is too big for Laurence' clothes.
Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Laurence because he crashes after having stayed awake for too long.
Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Laurence, especially after the Frenzy.
Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: That normally does not happen. Laurence won't move much because of the death grip and Ludwig is trapped.
