Logan still had a rose in their hand as they sauntered through the crowd, but as they weren’t trying to win the game, that wasn’t relevant. They’d already seen two of the people they had been looking for - Pinky and Amara - and those encounters had been wonderful. But they still wanted to find Ludo; they had always liked him, despite the numerous reasons that could be listed for feeling the opposite reaction. But Ludo was a soft spot for Logan.
When they spotted him, their smirk changed from simply satisfied to genuine pleasure. He was a friend, and Logan didn’t have many of those, truthfully; they kept most people at a distance simply because it was too much work to let anyone close. Ludo was different, however. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” they said as they got closer. “I wanted to say thank you for the gram, although I think time has altered your memory. My room isn’t that big.”
