It wouldn’t be entirely untrue to say Nick had been thinking up ways to accidentally run into Ludo for months now. The more attached Mary got the more satisfying it would be to watch it all come crumbling back down, sure, but he hated when people touched his things. He’d have to be careful with this, he’d have to play it right. Mary probably filled the idiot’s head with all sorts of little sob stories. True sob stories, sure, but that mattered less.
“Mr. Bagman!” He called as he threw up a hand in wave, an easy friendly smile on his face. “Big fan of your recent work, mate. Do you think you could spare a few minutes?”
