Walden wasn't really great at subtlety. Hiding his relationship with Antonin made sense: they didn't need anyone poking their noses in their business, and it was still so new and thrilling. It made sense and he'd agreed to it but shit it was hard to keep his hands to himself now that he knew he could put them everywhere.

It was after dinner and everyone else had headed back towards the Common Room and relaxation, but Antonin had called for him to stay behind to 'talk about something'. Walden was really hoping the talking involved more kissing than actual talking.

"Whatcha need, 'Tonin?" He asked as Antonin led him down a side hall of the main entrance. "What can I do for you?"

When his uncle had suggested the arrangement, Ajax had run it past Antigone first. Anything this big always got run past Antigone first. She hadn't Seen anything terrible, and had promised that he hadn't disappeared, so Ajax didn't see the harm going forward with it all. Archie had even said he'd have a nice day today. His siblings wouldn't lead him wrong.

Meeting her for the first time still made him nervous though. Isabella Fawley. That was her name. Ajax hoped he made a good first impression.

He sat in his uncle's living room, standing up and then sitting back down every time footsteps creaked outside.

This time though, the door actually opened.

"Oh, you're really pretty." He said, a bit awed, as Isabella walked in. "I mean, hi, I'm Ajax. You must be Isabella? You look nice."

Lydia should've expected something like this, honestly. She got around enough that she had a reputation in certain circles, and Melinda Dolohov was an actual literal model. People looked at the pair of them. It couldn't be helped.

But that didn't mean it was super fun, when people didn't care whether or not they showed any interest.

"You think he'd take a hint." Lydia grumbled. The man either didn't hear or didn't want to, walking closer to both of them.

"Busy tonight, gorgeous? I can show you both a good time." The man said, leering.

"Oh, sorry, we're busy." Lydia replied as she slung her arm around Melinda's waist. "With each other. Like, all night."

It was nice that Liv had found someone, it really was. If nothing else, it meant she spent marginally less nights sneaking into his and Antonin's bed. Seeing Liv so happy made him happy, and if it was with someone Cissy approved of, then all the better. He didn't mind if Liv brought her over to the estate, he didn't mind if Liv had her move in. They had plenty of room.

He didn't even mind sharing the kitchen over breakfast.

"Hey," He said, rolling an apple her way over the counter. "Good morning. You want tea or something? 'Tonin and Liv'll be asleep a while yet."

Laser's had enough crushes and been in enough relationships that they should know their own signs by now. Getting caught unawares by their emotions at this point was just embarrassing.

Yet somehow seeing Mona stroll into their garage with her hair up still managed to make Leia fumble a wrench. What the shit? How old were they, 12?

"Hey," they said, looking around for the dropped tool to avoid having to look at their friend just a moment longer, "Didn't expect you in today. What's up?"

“Perhaps, but no less important.” Ludovic smiled politely, though made a note never to turn his back on the other man. His eyebrow shot up at the comment, confusion flooding his expression. “You seem to have me confused with someone else. I haven’t been benched, in this season or the last. If I had, well, I certainly wouldn’t have been chosen for the England national side this summer.” He turned away as the drinks were brought over, paying the bartender and pushing the second bottle over to Nick. “So, who do you really support then?”

Of course Nick was important. That was never actually in doubt. Unlike Bagman’s importance, which grew more questionable by the minute.

“Really?” Nick winced in feigned embarrassment, looking away like Severus always had when Evans trounced past back at school. “Well this is bloody embarrassing, sorry. Must’ve gotten you confused with one of the other players. You are Bagman though, aren’t you?

“I’m rooting for Ireland this year, but mostly because it really annoys some of the other Oblivators. Apparently I’m a tasteless arse. Do you think you’ve got a shot at it, then? The title.”

It wouldn’t be entirely untrue to say Nick had been thinking up ways to accidentally run into Ludo for months now. The more attached Mary got the more satisfying it would be to watch it all come crumbling back down, sure, but he hated when people touched his things. He’d have to be careful with this, he’d have to play it right. Mary probably filled the idiot’s head with all sorts of little sob stories. True sob stories, sure, but that mattered less.

“Mr. Bagman!” He called as he threw up a hand in wave, an easy friendly smile on his face. “Big fan of your recent work, mate. Do you think you could spare a few minutes?”

Emm had been kicked out of St. Mungo’s. Apparently the fact she kept sneaking off to try and do work was ‘detrimental to the healing process’. Now she’d holed herself up in a corner of her girlfriend’s office, sulking. Her hands still had a tremor and her memory wasn’t 100% yet. “Are you sure I’m not in the way?” She asked. “I feel so... useless.”
