         were she an honest individual, she would express her joy, even if it was slight, towards being back in the MORTAL REALM. she was not, however, an honest individual, even in life, & as such maintained FEIGNED BOREDOM. the demoness rose from her knelt position as soon as she could move - the floor was no place for a n o b l e such as herself. bright green/yellow gaze would shift to the girl in front of her, giving her a quick once over, before she crossed her arms & huffed.

     ANGELO SHOULD HAVE PERHAPS known better than to play around with gamblers. They were a cutthroat lot when it came to obtaining a victory, and knowing his luck, he’d wind up losing all his money before the day was over. He could tell from watching this female gambler that she was one of those people who would suck you dry of literally everything you owned. Still, Angelo liked challenges to an extent, and knocking this woman off her pedestal and beating her at her own game was appealing. Fingers drummed against the table, Angelo’s eyes sliding from the other’s face to linger on the cards in his hand. ❝Why do I gotta feelin’ you have some trick up your sleeve?❞

     People with fox-faces were not to be trusted.

     That was something he learned rather early in his life. Leaning back, he seemed to be in deep thought, debating on whether he should fold or continue. ❝Then again, maybe you don’t.❞ Lying his cards down, he showed off his hand with a small sense of trepidation that he refused to let be shown within his expression. None of his cards were particularly remarkable, but his highest card was a queen of diamonds. ❝Come at me, lady. Show me what you got.❞

         "i'm sorry, b-but no one else is home, & i was t-told not to let anyone inside..." it was pouring outside, which made her feel even worse about not letting the other into the house, but the twins had given her SPECIFIC ORDERS not to let anyone in - she shouldn't have even answered the door! this girl was persistent, though, she'd give her that. "there's a - um - bar about twenty minutes away...y-you can find shelter there..."

“Ahuhuhu~ Yes, yes. Cute and pretty are certainly words I would use to describe your body dear master.” A light giggle leaves Medb’s throat and she taps Yumeko’s soft lip with the tip of her finger. It was the duality of her master’s nature that she loved the most. The innocent girl who enjoyed time with her friends. The monstrous beast that surged to the surface when something truly piqued her interest. Medb could not have wished for a more interesting master.

“But your eyes... They can only be described with words like ‘ravenous’ or ‘monstrous’. It’s quite the sight to see master. Especially when you games with that cute blonde you bring around. I can’t get enough of it.”

the gloom-filled tavern played stage to the vile child and his whims ;  activity had been lacking these few nights. a certain sort of dryness griped his throat, wakened by ennui ( blood-thirst / gold-thirst / glory-thirst ) and made him irritable : whoever he chose to snap at was entirely arbitrary. the boy looked much like a sullen, solemn angel with his brooding oculars of brilliant crimson, daring the newcomer to acquiesce in his snare of menacing capriciousness, yet with his tone alone made clear that he belonged entirely to this cesspit of London likened to hell by its residents  — ogre street.

      ✿ - Nestled in the small, low hanging branches of a nearby tree sat the small figure of a faerie. Her green translucent wings flapping in the wind as she hummed a small tune, watching the area around her with eager eyes. She spotted a curious looking figure in the distance, her jade hues locking onto the stranger with a prying glance.

     There was one thing that Zero didn’t tolerate; it was women. She didn’t like how this woman’s eyes were so... intense and deep, it wasn’t the sort of depth that brought on an appreciation. If there were ever a pair of crazy eye’s she could point out; this chick was at the top of the list. Not at all interested in entertaining her, the Intoner pointed directly in the opposite direction, “ goodbye. ”
