Loki wasn't even aware of how much he was swooning to Erik lately. He's never done that to any other Sim before and while his boyfriend was obviously moved by all this attention, he felt a little awkward with it as well.

Ludvig started a blog to talk about his mother's mysterious disappearance. Now that Bella Goth's story died out, he thought it could gain popularity and possibly help him find out what actually happened to Circe.

Ludvig finally tried to learn more about robotics and build his own bots, but Loki watched him like a hawk for the entire time to make sure the boy didn't mess with his set up. It only made Ludvig more stressed.

Reluctantly, Loki finally left him and went to make dinner for them both. He needed to talk to his son about the engagement and find out if Ludvig won't throw a tantrum about it.

He tried his best to carefully explain the situation, but Ludvig figured it out earlier anyway. He was still understandably upset about his father moving on from Circe so quickly, but even a visually impaired Sim would clearly see how much more chemistry there was between him and Erik.

Eventually, Loki emerged from his secret lair and had to awkwardly greet the guest. He knew nothing about his son's friends, but at least tried to be a decent host.

He had a strange feeling like the girl looked somewhat familiar, but couldn't figure out where he might've seen her before. He didn't exactly have a good memory for faces or names anyway.

Later, when Erik returned from work, he was positively surprised to see Loki and his son getting along again. Just because deep down he was celebrating Circe's departure, he didn't want young Ludvig to turn away from them and feel alienated.

Next day, Ludvig kept glaring at Erik to make sure he won't snitch at him for sneaking out. Loki misinterpreted it and thought his son was waiting for them to start uncomfortably flirting at the table, so he tried to keep it casual.

Since it was Saturday and Ludvig didn't want to risk being caught sneaking out at night again, he made the bold move of inviting Cornelia over during the day.

She agreed to have a date at his place, though the two had to make sure not to disturb Ludvig's father too much.

Sam: Oh, to be a teenager in love again.

Ludvig also left with Cornelia that night. He might've improved his relations with Loki, but that didn't mean he will stop seeing his girlfriend in secret.

However, this time he was caught by Erik. His old Servo-Nanny now reminded him too much of his actual mother. At least he managed to beg Erik not to tell Loki about sneaking out.

Loki found his son on the roof, guessing the boy would be messing around with the telescopes. The two managed to talk things through without fighting again and Ludvig admitted to his father he actually doesn't mind having Erik as his step-parent.

Loki wasn't going to risk using the big telescope even if he didn't believe in the alien abduction theory. He just felt weirdly whimsical that night and started thinking maybe Circe left as a gift for him.

Erik continued his slow climb on the career ladder. It wasn't the most thrilling job he could get, but he found it incredibly easy to manipulate others with his artificial intelligence.

Meanwhile, Ludvig's mood was improving somewhat. He started to genuinely believe in the alien abduction theory and was convinced his mother was doing her research in space.

This belief made it easier for him to warm up to Erik being with his father again. Neither of them was at fault for what happened and if Circe agreed to their relationship beforehand, there was no reason for him to be upset.

He hated to admit it, but with his mother gone he could finally focus more on his robotic studies. Circe insisted on making Ludvig follow her footsteps into medicine and forced him to study biology. Without her nagging him about it, he could finally go for what he was truly passionate about.

Ludvig kept sneaking out with Cornelia every night (she even showed up autonomously, which is probably a result of some mod I don't remember adding). Staying out till 4am was probably not the best idea, but he didn't seem concerned about his school performance.

He did oversleep in the morning and almost missed the bus, but managed to rush out and catch it on the very last moment. He didn't want to risk getting caught and scolded by his father.
