My ship through the years /Part 1
So ... basically I've been crying for 3 hours. It took me 3 fu*king hours to watch just 8 parts of this sl.Yeah i'm not joking i lost the count of how many times i had to pause the videos because the tears just kept coming out of my eyes. And the funny thing is i already knew what it was going to happen but i still cried. 😭 😭 😭
I can't understand why do i keep choosing to watch sl like this. Now i'm upset and mad because Edwin didn't deserved to die and I wanted to see L & E together and i know that things like this happen in real life (i think that's why it's sadder) but this is a soap opera, they could've let them be happy 😞 😩 😭 🤧
Love this dude so much

M: “I was like a teddy bear for you wasn’t I?” L: “What an interesting question, but ja. A soft, warm, und kind one.”
These two...I’m just not sure what it is about them, but they are an interesting pair. Maybe it’s because Prelude Ludwin seems a bit more...lively and more content when Mazella around. I’m still not sure what made him take a shine to her in the first place and bestow her powers of randomness through her cards. But he is quite fond of his Card Queen, and wishes that she could stay. For he can not be sure if he’ll ever see her again or if fate is kind, how long it’ll be until they cross paths again.
For Mazella, besides him being a half demon, she finds him quite interesting and amusing. It also helps that he doesn’t think her odd. She’s grateful to him for her abilities, no matter what the random outcomes may be. And after their last encounter she does find herself feeling more attached to him. Whether that will grow into something else will depend on if they cross paths once more.
Their quotes up top occurred after the nap they had taken together, where Ludwin had been in his demon form.
Queen of Diamonds
When Mazella came around again she was confused and a little disoriented. However, there was one thing she could tell for sure. She was being cuddled by something big. Logic would dictate that she should be concerned by her current situation. However, she felt oddly comfortable and she last remembered falling into Ludwin.
She tried to move a little so she could get a look at who was cuddling her. She stopped, however, when they held her closer. “Go back to sleep. You obviously need it,” they said. Mazella recognized the voice as Ludwin’s though it sounded a little gruff and slightly distorted.
“Ludwin?” she asked before yawning. “Is that-” she began to asked but stopped when he gently shushed her.
“It’s me. This is my demon form, you can get a better look at it later. Und we’re in my room, just so you know,” he said and then yawned slightly himself. At first he was just watching over her. However, she looked so peaceful that he decided to join her and take a nap himself. “Und I’m being a little selfish,” he said with a chuckle. “So, allow me to have this nap with you. If you happen to disappear back to your home before I open my eyes again? I’ll be happy with this,” he continued. Mazella laughed a little herself and closed her eyes again.
“Well, it’s hard to say no anyway. I’m way too comfortable for my own good,” she said softly. “I certainly feel protected too. And I’ll admit it, I’m kinda hoping I’ll still be here when I open my eyes again,” she added as she snuggled a bit closer to him.
“Good,” Ludwin seemingly purred before closing his eyes again as well.
Two of Spades: Rose in the Wind
“An inn? Oh no, no, no!” Ludwin said and wagged his finger. After he and Mazella had finished their muffins and talked a little they were walking through the town once more. However, soon the topic of where Mazella would stay came up and she suggested that she could stay at an inn. Ludwin was not hearing it though. “You’re my responsibility remember? I’m going to see if it’s alright for you to stay in a guest room,” he said. Mazella paused in her idle shuffling a drew a card. It was the nine of clubs.
“Why do you feel that way?” she asked simply as she put the card back in her deck. Of course there was more she could have said, but not right now. Ludwin was thrown off by the question and stopped walking. She stopped as well and turned to face him more.
“...It is in a way my fault you’re here again. Und I’m the only you kinda know here right? So I feel responsible und I don’t want you to get hurt or wander into the wrong sorts,” he answered. Another draw of the cards and Mazella found herself looking at the jack of diamonds before putting it back.
“At the same time though...you did kinda give me another way to fend for myself,” she contested a bit softly. Again there was more she could have said but they were left in her mind. Ludwin raised a brow as she went back to her idle shuffling.
“Are you uncomfortable with this?” he asked a little concerned. It was her turn to be caught off guard. She had a slight mis-shuffle but shook her head.
“Not really,” she said with a light chuckle and then gave him one of her usual smiles. “I would have wandered off by now otherwise!”
“That’s a relief,” Ludwin said with a soft chuckle of his own. He was about to say something else when someone else approached them and spoke.
“Vell, vell...if it isn’t a Richter. Und a male one sadly. A shame vhen ze females are so much more pleasing to ze eye,” they said before their eyes fell upon Mazella. “Ah, but vhat’s zis? He does seem to have an interesting beauty vith him,” they said and moved a little closer to her. Ludwin growled and moved between them and Mazella.
“Und vhat is a Rose doing so far from zeir “garden”?” he hissed, clearly not amused by his words or the look he was giving Mazella. The Rose member, Salazar, raised a brow curiously at Ludwin’s protectiveness.
“Vhat’s it to you? I’m not causing any trouble. I’m merely on a search for something, but I can’t help but notice beauty vhen I see it,” he said with a chuckle and pushed him to the side. Salazar went up to Mazella and gently lifted her chin so she could look into his eyes. He grinned as his eyes glowed slightly. “Und vould such a beautiful voman care to tell me her name?” he asked as she slowly stopped shuffling her cards.
“Vhat’s it to me?!” Ludwin questioned with a growl as he marched back up to him and pulled him away before Mazella could answer. “You are in Richter territory und your clan is already on zin cracked ice vith mine! Especially after vhat happened ze last time a Rose vas here!” he said. “Und she is too precious for someone like you!” he added with a hiss.
“Tsk, you Richters und your tempers,” Salazar said dryly. “But vhat do you-” he was about to ask what he meant about the last time a Rose was here, but he and Ludwin were both distracted by the flash of green beside them. Mazella had activated her abilities and had an unreadable expression on her face. Ludwin let go of Salazar and took a step back as four cards floated up in front of her with their backs facing the two males.
“Isn’t it proper to give one’s own name first, before asking for another’s?” she asked, keeping emotion out of her voice for now. Salazar blinked wondering what was going on.
“Salazar Rose, a lord of ze Rose Clan of vampires,” he said. Ludwin couldn’t help but bristle slightly at the mention of the clan. He refrained from saying anything though when Mazella glanced at him for a moment. It was hard to catch but there seemed to be a “let me handle this” meaning behind it.
“Salazar? Alright. If you must know I’m Mazella Liore, self proclaimed Lady of Chance and Luck. Let’s test your luck shall we, Salazar? Point to one of the four cards please,” she responded. Ludwin couldn’t help but smirk now, something Salazar noticed when he glanced at the Richter. Still, he was curious and he had her name now.
“Alright Lady Mazella, I’ll bite. I pick zat one,” he said as he pointed to the one on her far right. She chuckled a little as the card turned around revealing itself to be the six of diamonds. Before Salazar could question what meaning it had he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He moved just in time to avoid the small bolt of lightning that followed.
“I don’t really appreciate being treated like some piece of eye candy,” she said, finally letting her annoyance show. “There is more to a person than just their looks, you know,” she continued and with a wave of her hand another card revealed itself to him. It was the eight of hearts. Salazar jumped back slightly as a ball of fire shot up from the ground between them.
“You have a bit of a spark to you...interesting,” he commented as he took a moment to reevaluate her.
“Also! I don’t know what you tried to do to me but I didn’t appreciate that either,” she said. “It felt...wrong,” she added with a slight shiver. “Not to mention I don’t like what you said to Ludwin, or that you upset him. Please leave before I let the other two cards do their thing,” she said. Salazar looked at her for a few moment before glancing at the Richter prince who was still smirking. A slight look of disgust showed on the Rose’s face before he looked at Mazella fully once more and bowed.
“For you zen, I take my leave,” he said before changing into his bat form and flying off.
“Good riddance,” Ludwin muttered as he watched the Rose fly away. When he turned towards Mazella he noticed that the cards that were floating had started to shake and she had a hand to her face. “Mazella...?”
“J-just a little dizzy, t-that’s all,” she responded a bit shakily though she tried to laugh it off. She actually felt a little nauseous too, but she could fight that off, or so she thought. “Travel sickness...” she murmured as the cards started to fall from in front of her and out of her other hand. Suddenly she started to fall forward as her vision went black but Ludwin easily stopped her fall. Mazella was still a bit conscious as she felt herself bump into his chest and her hat became slightly askew.
However, she couldn’t move or speak and was fighting to stay conscious. She felt him hold her close and wondered what was going through his mind. She would have to explain later that whenever her cards teleported her to a different place she would get dizzy and/or sick for a little bit. It just seemed to be delayed this time, but perhaps her use of abilities multiple times since is what pushed things to this point.
“That’s my Card Queen,” Ludwin said quietly though he thought she had completely passed out. Which was soon going to be true anyway. The cards that were fallen were soon glowing with his own aura before he willed them back into their home on Mazella’s belt. He then scooped her up into his arms so he could carry her to the estate and watch over her until she was conscious again.
