Happy 100th Lufthansa. The 747-8 in the beautiful "Lufthansa 100 Years" Livery Departing back to Frankfurt (FRA) on LH457. Given the current jet-fuel oil crisis in Europe due to the Iran conflict, as well as a current Lufthansa strike it is uncertain when this will be back to LAX. (April 11, 2026)

Double Lufthansa 100! A rather spectacular sight at LAX. Not one, but two "Lufthansa 100 Years" Livery aircraft taking off back to back in just a few minutes. The A380 bound for Munich (MUC) and the 787 to Frankfurt (FRA). (July 5, 2026)
