After two weeks on display at USC, the National Archives exhibits departed on the Freedom Plane from Van Nuys today. The Freedom Plane is a Boeing 737-700BBJ operated by The Boeing Company's Executive Flights division. Originally supposed to depart before 8am, the approximately 90 minute delay helped as the weather and skies were surprisingly clear and sunny at the time of departure.
