Chiming bells pulled you from dreamland and back to reality right as the clocked turned to nine o’clock in the morning. You stretched your arms up before opening your eyes slightly and turning to the bedside table. You grabbed your cellphone and halted the bells before sitting up and opening your eyes fully. You noticed a piece of paper stuck to the screen and peeled it off.
‘Good morning baby, if I’m not in bed as you’re reading this it’s because I went to get some groceries and cat food. Will be back soon, hope you slept well.
-Lu ♡ ’
You smiled as you folded the note and put it onto the table, mentally reminding yourself to put it in your purse later. You glanced over at the empty side of the bed before getting out and walking to the bathroom.
After completing your morning routine, you made your way over to Luhan’s kitchen to make a small breakfast for the two of you for when he returns. You bent down to pet Xiao Huang as you took a half empty carton of eggs and a tomato out of the refrigerator and set it down onto the counter.
As you started scrambling the eggs, the kitchen became cooler as the air conditioner started to blow cooler air. Wrapping your arms around yourself, you spotted a worn out gray hoodie hanging over a chair.
‘I hope he doesn’t mind if I wear this for a bit,’ you thought to yourself as you slipped the hoodie over you. Instantly you felt warm and cozy, the homely scent of his cologne filling your nose. You rolled the sleeves up as you went to dice the tomato, remembering how Luhan mentioned that he liked tomatoes with his eggs.
The door to the apartment opened right as you finished cooking breakfast. You turned the stove off before rushing over to help your boyfriend with the bags.
“Good morning,” you pecked Luhan on the cheek as you took one of the grocery bags out of his hand. “I made tomatoes with eggs, I hope you don’t mind I used some of your eggs.”
“I don’t mind at all, it’s okay. I bought more eggs anyway,” Luhan set his other grocery bag down onto the table before bringing the giant bag of cat food over to Xiao Huang’s bowls. You walked back to the stove and began to divvy up the eggs into two plates as Luhan began to put some of the groceries away.
“Is that my hoodie?”
You accidentally dropped the utensils you were holding before turning to Luhan. Worry laced your voice as you began to apologize profusely, saying that you were simply borrowing it temporary until you were finished with making breakfast. He walked over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, taking the time to fully take in the sight of you wearing his favorite hoodie.
“No, no, no, please don’t apologize. If I’m being honest... you look better in my clothes then I do.” You felt your cheeks flush as he smiled down at you, kissing you on the forehead. You covered your face with your arms as you wiggled out of his embrace.
“The eggs are gonna get cold!” you called out. He grinned as he sat at the table, eagerly awaiting his meal. You set his plate and a pair of chopsticks in front of him before sitting down next to him. You began eating slowly, covering part of your face with the sleeve of your, his, hoodie.
Luhan watched you as you ate and tried to avoid eye contact with him in fear of embarrassment. His heart fluttered at the sight of you: how amazing you looked wearing his hoodie while acting absolutely adorable in his eyes. “Are you blushing?” Luhan teased, moving your arm away from your face.
“I’m not blushing! You’re blushing! Shut up!” you giggled, punching Luhan playfully in the shoulder. He cried out in faux pain as he stood from his spot and lifted you in his arms. You squealed as he set you on top of the table and began peppering kisses all over your face.
“You should wear my clothes more often.” You raised an eyebrow before pressing a kiss to Luhan’s soft cheek.
“Maybe I’ll take you up on that offer.” He smiled at your words, capturing your lips with his.
He would not make it back in time for Christmas. It was always the same. Always the same excuse repeatedly. He had to work hard, give his best for his fans, and you understood that. You always did. And that was the problem. You loved him. Too much. He was here for Christmas for the last two years. That’s what made you hope he would be here again, not only that, but he told you, no, he promised you he would be here.
Sighing, you got up, heading to freshen up before heading back to loneliness. Stripping down, scalding water hitting you, relaxing you. After the quick shower, you put on your Christmas sweater, heading down to bake something for yourself. Mixing the batter, you opted to mix more than for one portion, just in case.
The door opened as you pulled them out of the oven. Hands wrapped around your waist and you knew it was him. Turning around in his arms you hugged him. “You came” you breathed.
“Of course,” he said as he pulled away and placed a tiny kiss on your forehead. “I smell something~” he cooed looking at the oven. “Just cookies” you grinned, the smile not leaving your face since he came.
Settling down on the sofa, he started the movie. You cuddled to his side, just enjoying him being there with you. It was not always you would have time together, just the two of you. Halfway through the movie, Luhan’s head was resting against yours. But you didn’t mind. Just having him here, being in his presence was enough for you.
Luhan wakes up from his sleep. Another nightmare: the same repeating dream that always haunts him. His loud gasp and breathing, wakes the beauty sleeping soundless beside him.
"What is it Lu?" your voice sounds raspy from waking up, Luhan gets up from his sleeping position and leans his back on the head board.
Luhan takes a deep breath, "Nightmare," he cups his hands onto his face and sighs.
You scoot closer to him and pull him into a hug, "Again... the same one?" You whisper softly into his ear.
Luhan nods and lays his head to your chest; he closes his eyes and takes deep breaths. The dark claws in his dream earlier are still swimming in his head, he presses his eyes tighter and grits his teeth, he shakes his head in order to keep the mind away.
Luhan holds his head up and stares into your deep blue calm eyes, he searches for comfort in it. "Honey, it's horrible. I cannot sleep and wake up with the same worry, I am afraid of losing you. I can't live without you."
You chuckle, "I am immortal Lu, I am the one who is supposed to be afraid of losing you."
He bites his lips in frustration, "I'm aware, just that... can't you make me immortal too?"
You kiss him lightly, "I can Lu, it's just that we both have to wait for the right time. Please wait for me okay?"
Luhan whines, "But you have to do it okay?"
You give him a reassuring nod, "I will."
"Promise?" he offers you his pinky finger under the peeping moonlight.
"Promise," You link your pinky and seal the promise with the thumbs.
You put your hand over his forehead and send him light waves to drive him back to sleep.
"In two days, the full moon will reach its highest point. That night, you will get what you want Lu," You whisper to the sleepy Luhan.
He smiles with his sleepy eyes, "Whenever it is, I will wait and when you're ready, I am ready."
He kisses you and slowly brings himself into dreamland.
You lay on his chest and draw abstract lines on the veins of his strong arm, the same arm that has caught you from falling down into troubles, the arm that gives you warmth, the arm that makes you feel secured whenever he hugs you. You caress his arm softly, lovingly, while you mumble: "What if you got hurt in the process? What if you only want my powers? What will I do if you leave me after all of that..."
You stare into his innocent sleeping face, you doubt yourself for ever thinking that this pure man will leave you, but you cannot lower your guards. Most archangels fell into the darkest pit of life when their loved ones leave them for someone else. You have risked your life, falling in love with a human, and you're taking the next risk... making him immortal. You didn't feel a tear falling from your eyes, it streams down your face because of the stress and worry inside your heart.
Luhan happens to hear your mumblings and he turns his body to face you, he pulls your small figure into his wide shoulder, with his secured arms he hugs you possessively. With one hand running through your cheek, wiping the tears; and the other hands clasping you tightly in his embrace, Luhan finds your blue eyes.
"Darling, keep that mind as far as you can. I am not like that, I am never leaving you. I only love you and will always love you. No matter what," he looks at you sadly, and plants a kiss on your forehead.
"I love you," he whispers and you both descend to sleep.
The morning sun shyly peeks over the closed curtains, your alarm annoyingly cuts both of your rest time. Every morning, the bed feels even softer, the pillow fluffier, and Luhan's arms more comfortable than anything else. The two of you force your tired eyes to wake up and start your day.
The two of you enjoy breakfast over cups of coffees, and then separated into your own consecutive offices. You will meet him back on the afternoon after all of these office hours.
The sun rises and sets, the moon peeks and hides, you and Luhan continue your life like the usual routine.
Until the full moon reaches its highest place, the atmosphere perfect, and the mood set. You're ready when you greet your husband home with a fancy candle light dinner for two on your dining table, he seems to understand what you're planning and Luhan cannot keep his cool.
"You're ready Lu?" you asked when the last gulp of wine enters your throat.
Luhan smiles, "Ready as one can be,"
You walk to him and press your forehead to his, looking straight into his eyes you once again question him, "Promise you won't leave me?"
He inches closer and with a gentle kiss he replies, "Never."
You smile and press a kiss he has never experienced before. The night is long, and Luhan is already excited.

Note: y’all, I’m so weak for Luhan lately
Whenever the weather took a turn toward winter, and you had to pull your coat out of the back of your closet, and you noticed the couples outside huddling against each other for warmth while you shivered and shoved your gloved hands into your pockets, you remembered Luhan.
It was silly how you could spend hours mulling over your handful of memories. You were embarrassed by how you could recall him in perfect detail despite the years that should have blurred your memory, ashamed by how you could miss somebody you barely knew.
By now you accepted the fact that he likely didn't remember you, and if he did, those brief (likely one-sided) romantic encounters probably meant much more to you than they ever did to him. As you packed for your annual trip home for the holidays, you realized there was something beautiful about keeping Luhan safe in your memories, even if you never got to see him again.
You never considered how you would react if your paths ever crossed; so when you noticed him at the baggage claim in the airport near your hometown, you were paralyzed by the deafening throbbing of your heart. Although he was several years older than the boy in your memories, there was no mistaking him-- but would he recognize you so easily?
When you found your suitcase and saw that you would have to pass Luhan to claim it, you could have said something to express how you thought of him. But if he didn't remember you, would you ever again be able to recall him fondly? In the end, you decided that you couldn't bear that possibility, so you merely muttered a polite, "Excuse me," as you brushed by him, grabbed your suitcase, and raced out of the airport before you could do anything you would regret.
All the while, you were agonizingly aware that you would definitely later hate yourself for letting him slip away without so much as stealing one final glance, but you couldn't gather your courage until you heard his voice calling behind you, "Excuse me-- please wait!"
You stilled to allow him to catch up and ask, "Is your name Y/N?" When you only nodded, using all of your strength to avoid his magnetic gaze to instead stare down at your feet, Luhan wondered aloud, "Do you not remember me? Or do you just happen to look like a girl I used to know?"
Without hesitation, you replied, "I remember you." And after swallowing a deep breath, you willed yourself to look at his face, which was somehow more beautiful than you remembered. Breathless because of the swelling of your heart, you explained, "I just can't believe I'm actually seeing you."
"It's been a long time," Luhan nodded. Then, perhaps feeling the same urge to apologize for the passage of time, he sighed. "I could have been better about getting your phone number before I moved, but you seemed too young for me at the time."
Just as you would have all those years ago, you rolled your eyes at his remark about your age difference and pointed out, "You're barely older than me, Luhan."
"Ah, so you do remember my name!" Luhan beamed and leaned forward against his suitcase. Before you could respond, he pulled his ringing phone out of his pocket. He pouted apologetically and said, "I'm sorry-- I have to go. But could I get your number?"
"I dunno." You stiffened, frightened by the idea of a present-tense relationship with someone you spent so many years idealizing. But when his frown yanked at your heart, you played your reluctance off as a joke. "I'm still younger than you, ya know, and I always will be."
Luhan laughed. "I never thought I would have to beg for you to like me, Y/N. When did you stop being the bold one? It's hard to believe you're the same girl who kissed me on that school field trip--"
"Hey!" Your jaw dropped as you swiped at his arm. "I never kissed you!"
"Oh yeah, you're right," Luhan teased as a playful smile etched tiny dimples on either side of his mouth. "Sorry, sometimes the daydreams and memories kinda blend together."
"Ah," you whined, chuckling airily as your cheeks glowed scarlet. "I liked it better when you were the shy one."
"You didn't scold me for wanting to kiss you, so I guess you're single." Luhan pulled his suitcase along as he started walking toward the doors and motioned for you to follow.
Your only response was, "You're perceptive. Especially considering how once upon a time, you didn't even realize I liked you."
"Hey, that's not fair," Luhan frowned at your remark. "Nobody ever liked me before, so I didn't know why you followed me around so much."
You didn't believe for a moment that you were the first girl who ever liked Luhan, but that didn't seem like an observation to share at the moment. "Well," you said as you joined him outside of the airport, "now you know it's because I was hopelessly in love with you."
"Oh, is that it?" Luhan bit back a smile as he raised his eyebrows at you. A car horn blared just a few feet away, and Luhan said, "Ah, Y/N, I really have to go now. Time's up again."
You could only frown at Luhan's farewell and the sudden gust of wind that brought tears to your eyes. His hand brushed against yours before he brought it up to his lips.
You decided, "Maybe there's something romantic about saying goodbye."
Luhan narrowed his eyes at you, tilted his head, and challenged, "Maybe we've had enough romance, then."
And you didn't want to argue anymore, you didn't want to be afraid of losing your connection to the past you briefly shared with Luhan, and you didn't want to regret anything just in case you went another several years without seeing him, so you finally met him for a kiss. The warmth of his lips contrasted greatly against the sharp winter breeze; and when he pulled away too soon, the distance between you left you shivering.
Ignoring the honking of the car nearby, Luhan smiled. "And to think I was just gonna settle for your number."
Summary: You lead a double life. For everyone else, you are the pretty girl with a great sense of fashion who works at Sephora. But it isn't your only job. For the other one you require only two things: the collection of weapons you keep in your closet - and zero emotions.

A/N: little disclaimer: just to clarify the ages of the characters in the story, y/n is supposed to be around 19, Baekhyun is one year older than her, following with Luhan who is two years older. I know, I made a playlist for Fleeting when I was bored, however I would recommend to play Tian Di by Kris while reading this chapter. <3 I hope you enjoy!
The three of you exchanged looks before Baekhyun spoke up again.
”It started three years ago.” He looked at you briefly. Three years ago. That was the time where you first moved to this town and met him for the first time. ”I was seventeen when I got my driving license, so were my friends. In the evenings, or even at night if we were feeling like it, we liked to drive all the way over to the old football field and see who was the fastest from us all. The whole place seemed a little spooky, so there really was nobody, ever. We never had to worry about anybody discovering what we were doing. It was nothing back then, just fooling around with our cars. Until one time, when we saw someone watching. Or, more like were just talking by our cars after we finished and suddenly heard clapping from behind. We thought we were done there, but like we later learned, it was one of the people with quite a position in the illegal leagues.” Baekhyun brushed his black bangs off before continuing. ”He said he had been watching us for a couple of days now. Which only proves how careless we were, because we never noticed him before. Anyway, he said he was impressed with what he witnessed, casually asking us if we wanted to make some money. And we, careless students, without considering anything agreed just like that. And this is how I ended up going to my first actual race.” He straightened, letting out a deep breath. ”Without getting into details, because I don’t think this is the most important thing, I started racing regularly from that day. In these three years, I also managed to build quite a reputation. And in these three years, I lost only once.” He glanced at Luhan. ”Because of that, I was asked to join in the big race in Shanghai. And this is where Tao and Kris appear on the scene. I had frankly no clue that they were associated with mafia, because I was always told that they are not very likely to participate in events like this. Anyway, the first prize for winning that race was the Rolls Royce. I won. I thought everything was great and perfect, that I can just take the car and drive off into the sunset... Nuh-uh. Nothing more delusional. Like I later discovered, Tao and Kris had their eyes set on that car and couldn’t accept it that their men lost to a practical kid. I was lucky enough to disappear from there without them eventually sending a few bullets after me, but like we saw it today, in the end they came after me. And actually there is nothing more to it. That’s the whole story.” He finished.
There was a little pause before Luhan’s amused voice filled the air. ”I told you. Kris went crazy.” He shook his head, causing his brown hair to bounce. ”And it’s obvious that he somehow brainwashed Tao too. He wasn’t always that thirsty for blood like he apparently is now.”
You just sat there, trying to process all that information that’s been just spilled on you. Recalling the events which took place just a few hours ago in Cloud 9, you felt a little dizzy all over again. You would never think that there will be a day, where Tao points his gun at you. You would never think that it was Kris who sent him to eliminate you. And, you would surely never think that he wanted to do the same to Luhan as well.
Because once, you were all like a family.
”I-” You tried to say something, anything, but you could’t help feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you weren’t that good as you liked to give yourself a credit for. You didn’t care about people from outside, but if the matter had something to do with the ’family’, you weren’t able to neglect it.
You felt Luhan’s hand touching your shoulder, a gesture of comfort. ”I know what you’re thinking right now.” He put his lips in a tight line. ”Neither of us can go back to Shanghai. Not now. Not in the future. And very honestly saying, I don’t know when we will be able to.”
Baekhyun was still shifting on the floor where he was sitting. ”Wait, what do you mean by ’going back to Shanghai?’”
You looked at him with a blank expression on your face.
”This is just another story from the past.” You still couldn’t say what might be going on in his head right now. You already knew that he was beyond disappointed in you, but was he really willing to hear about your mess of a childhood?
Before Baekhyun could answer, Luhan was faster. ”Look, this is something very far from a healthy childhood story, so I would consider it if you really wanna hear it.” He huffed. ”I can imagine, you already think that we’re beyond sick, but I don’t guarantee that you won’t think even worse of us after hearing how we both ended up in... Yeah, you know.”
Baekhyun was looking once to Luhan, once to you. When he spoke again, there was something audible in his voice. Something you couldn’t name. ”Tell me.”
You gave Luhan a look, encouraging him to start talking. You weren’t really feeling like saying anything at all at that moment.
”Very well then.” He began. ”From the looks you gave me, yeah I saw it, I could tell that you’re dying to know what exactly is our relationship.” He pointed at you before going on. ”Looking way back, about 12 years ago. I think I told you that me and Y/N have known each other since we were eight. Precisely, she was eight, I was ten at that time. You need to know that we both originally come from families who were a little more than well off. It was early spring, we ended up being on the same ship, attending a fancy event with our families. It was the first time we met, being small children we instantly became friends. So far, everything was very normal. Until.” Luhan paused for a brief moment. You felt that. Recalling those events still made both your damaged hearts to ache. But life goes on. ”I don’t want it to become boring, all you need to know is that we ended up being caught in a feud between two different mafias. We still don’t really know why they were there, I doubt we will ever know. They were ruthless, they didn’t care at all about the innocent people on the ship. All I remember is that at some point they started shooting and eventually put the whole ship on fire. In the conclusion, me and Y/N saw lots, lots of people dying around us.” Luhan paused again. ”We saw how they pointed their guns at our parents. We sa-”
”Luhan.” You squeezed his hand. ”Don’t.”
He let out a breath. ”Yeah, basically. I already mentioned Xianmiao before. Well, his full name was Wen Xian Miao. He was the boss of one of the mafias who were there, a very powerful and influential one. I don’t know why he did that to be honest, but he picked us up from that ship and took us with him to Shanghai. Just to clarify a few things, his men weren’t the ones who killed-”
You nudged him.
”His men weren’t the ones. Eventually, he became like a father to us. He raised us. Cared for us. Gave us a home. During that time, me and Y/N became practical siblings, and it didn’t change until this day.” It was Luhan’s turn to nudge you lightly.
Yeah. The bond you built throughout the years was too strong to get broken, and even though you and Luhan didn’t share the same blood, you were always calling each other ’brother’ and ’sister’. Even though you weren’t biological, you were sure you had a much firmer bond than many of the regular biological siblings out there.
Baekhyun was listening carefully to everything what Luhan’s been telling. You observed his reactions, trying to read him. You wanted to ask him if he hated you. But you couldn’t just casually throw this question at him right now.
Luhan kept going. ”Don’t get the wrong idea, neither of us was forced into this dark business. I mean, ’tasks’-” He shook his hair off his eyes. ”It was our own choice. When Y/N was twelve and I was fourteen, I started training. At the beginning Xian wasn’t too impressed by my wish, but eventually he let me and he got me the best training I could receive. At that time Y/N wasn’t allowed anywhere near that stuff, seeing that she was still too young. Well, I mean, I was obviously too young as well but fourteen was the more acceptable age in Xian’s opinion. Two years later Y/N started training too.” Luhan looked at you, a visible question in his eyes.
That was the part you should tell by yourself.
”That’s right.” You began. ”After I was allowed to, me and Luhan were trained side by side. It wasn’t anything very particular at the beginning, we learned how to deal with all kinds of weapons and how to fight, just in case. We were prepared really well. When the time came, Lu was the first one of us two to actually take somebody down.” You paused. You remembered it very well. ”It was harder than anyone can imagine for two kids to be growing up around gunshots and cruelty.” You paused again, searching for the right words. If only the right words for such actions existed.
”If you think that it messed up our heads a little, then you’re right.” Luhan looked over to Baekhyun. ”It did. But living in a world like this, you become accustomed to it after a while. You could say we were... really unfortunate.” He intertwined his both hands, looking down. He always acted tough, but you knew him way too well to not see that it was breaking him inside just like it was breaking you.
When he didn’t say anything more, you continued talking. ”Later, when I was sixteen I got my first task. I was supposed to eliminate a traitor. A traitor, who had been selling our informations to the mafia from the other side of Shanghai. It was like a war between two concurrent families. I was chosen to complete it because I was already skilled more than good enough and being a fragile sixteen-year-old girl I wouldn’t be suspected of a crime like this. Plus, nobody knew who I was over there.” You let out a breath, looking anywhere but at Baekhyun’s face. ”I completed the task successfully. But after I did, I had to disappear for a while. And this is the point which leads us to where we are now.” You looked up. ”Xian’s cousin had an undercover corporation here. A corporation which connected... Uhm. Which connected the mafia, the assassins, the dealers, you name it. It was the connection between everyone in the family. His cousin had a son, Yixing. After he unfortunately passed away, it was Yixing who took the leadership from there. To assure I was safe, I was sent here. And that resulted in meeting you, Baekhyun. As well as meeting Sujin.” You finally looked at him. ”I was supposed to stay here as long as the things back in Shanghai were sorted out. I wasn’t allowed to contact anyone back home, including Luhan. We couldn’t risk anyone to track me down. In these three years I had no idea what was going on in China. All I still remember was that the hell broke loose after I took down that delinquent. I even thought that they could be all dead there. I thought that Luhan could have ended up like this.” You felt your eyes welling up just at the single thought of it.
Luhan squeezed your hand firmly. ”Before you flew away, I promised you. Siblings find each other again. No matter what and no matter how long. And look at us now. We are both here.”
You quickly wiped off the tear that was about to fall down.
Baekhyun, sitting still, looked at both you and Luhan seeming to not find any words to say. You could easily imagine that he expected many things, but not this.
Finally he spoke up. ”I’m... I’m very sorry for all you had to go through, nonetheless. I can’t compare it to my own situation.” He stood up, putting his hands in the pockets of his black jeans. His expression was unreadable.
You blankly stared into space. At that point you could forget the things with Baekhyun to go back to ’normal’ ever again.
”Well, I-” Baekhyun spoke again. ”I think I need to be alone for a while, so excuse me.” He turned around on his heel and walked out of the room.
”Baek-” You wanted to stop him, but you got interrupted by Luhan.
”Y/N, don’t. Let him.”
You let out a deep, shaky breath.
Everything was even a bigger mess now. Was it even possible?
Your eyes dashed back to Luhan.
”Lulu.” You said. ”Do you think he hates me now?”
”I don’t know if he hates you, but he clearly doesn’t like me.”
You lightly hit him in the shoulder. ”What are we going to do now?”
Luhan looked at you. ”I think I have a plan. First, I would say we find Yixing. Then we will see.” He paused, examining your face. ”You changed a lot, little sister.”
You smiled softly. ”So did you. You grew up so much.”
You just sat there, next to Luhan. You didn’t see him for about three years. You had so much to tell him.
He seemed to be thinking the same, because he turned to have a proper look at you in the exact same time as you did. ”So, ignoring the fact that our lives are very literally in danger right now, how have you been this entire time?”
That, that sibling talk was what you majorly missed in your life despite everything.
After all, Luhan was the one who would never judge you for anything you did.
”Where do I begin...”
A/N: I purposely concentrated this chapter on Luhan, because I wanted to make clear his sibling relation to y/n. I promise you more and more Baekhyun in the future chapters! thank you for reading and tell me what you thought of this one! and as always feel free to reblog if you want to! <3
EXO (ot12) Reaction to Kissing Their S/O for the First Time.
@/noona-clock requested: I saw your post, so here you go! EXO ot12 when they kiss you for the first time? - T
A/N: Thank you so much!! I’m so sorry I got to this so late! It’s been hella busy!! Also I’m not entirely sure if Luhan and Xiaotong are still together so I put him in here but if they for sure are just let me know and I’ll remove his reaction.
Minseok:
He’s smiling like crazy omg. He just got so excited, and he almost wanted to make it perfect. Immediately afterward he clung to you like a koala, for like the next three hours. He’s just a smiley baby.
Luhan:
A cheeky shit. You know how proud he is. He’s smirking right and left at the sight of your cute flushed face. After, he makes a comment about how adorable you are and how he makes you blush, he peppers little kisses around your face.
Kris:
That smile. you know the one I’m whipped for? It was plastered across his face for ages. He was proud that he finally kissed you, and how happy it made you feel. He was just so smiley and cute and he just loves you to pieces omg. Did I forget to mention how cute he is?
Junmyeon:
He was a little startled as you made the move first. He was trying to find the perfect moment to kiss you and to not make you feel uncomfortable, but you just got tired of waiting and kissed him. But of course, he got all cute afterward because you two had finally kissed.
Yixing:
He was in the studio with you recording another song. You praised him for his beautiful voice and his sheer talent. He got all gushy and smiled at you with those cute ass dimples, and placed a quick peck on your lips as a thank you.
Baekhyun:
Cheeky, cheeky, and a little bit cheeky. This boy was trying to rile you up when you told him that it was really hard to make you blush. He was doing things like complimenting you and even trying a little dirty talk. Nothing worked. But all of a sudden this idea came to him. He pinned you down a placed a kiss on your lips and you turned into a tomato. He then paraded around the dorm like he just won a Nobel prize.
Jongdae:
It was a complete and total accident. He was playing Mario Kart with Chanyeol, Baek, and Sehun and he won out of a surprise to all of you. He got so excited that out of reflex he just kissed you and then tried playing it off. “Yea I kissed you, what you gonna do?”
Chanyeol:
He’s just cute and romantic. It came after they won an award and you kinda chased after him and jumped in his arms congratulating them and saying how proud you were of him, and he just planted a kiss on your lips and said a cute little “thank you, babe.”
Kyungsoo:
Listen, he probably had the cutest reaction out of all the boys. He just placed his hands on your cheeks and kissed you. You blushed a little and he smiled and kissed you again. And I swear you witnessed his cute doe eyes just sparkle at you.
Zitao:
Another cheeky one. Well, he tried. He wanted to show off how much he affected you and then after like .2 seconds he just giggled nonstop about how cute you are, and how happy you made him feel.
Jongin:
He tried making a small joke out of it. He kissed you randomly (even though for him it was planned) and then he tried playing it off by going wide-eyed and saying “Huh? Idk what happened. I didn’t see anything? You’re just crazy” before attacking you with bunches of little kisses all over your face.
Sehun:
He got so shy. Just so shy and adorable and all of it. Just o m g. He’s blushing out the wazoo. After the kiss, he kind of just hid in the crook of your neck as the heat rose exponentially to his cheeks.
a/n: this is, unfortunately, a day late, but I hope you will all be able to enjoy it anyway !! I love these boys so much, and I hope this post dedicated to them is able to show that ~~ admin ruby
Luhan -
A faint humming would slowly pull you from sleep, Luhan’s smiling face the first beautiful sight you’d awake to. In his hands he’d carry breakfast from your favorite nearby cafe, along with a bouquet of flowers, in your favorite color of course. It’d be a cheesy thing to wake up to, no doubt, but the faint grin on your face wouldn’t go unrecognized by your boyfriend as he insisted on feeding you.
The early afternoon, the prime time of the day to Luhan, would unsurprisingly be spent outside. Whether he dragged you to a soccer game or an amusement park nearby, he wouldn’t hesitate on showing you off to every person who walked by. Your matching couple outfits would be a bit cringy, that you could admit, but the satisfied smirk on your boyfriend’s lips would be enough to put up with them. You’d even be able to handle his increased clinginess, leaning into his touch as he’d wrap a tight arm around your waist, and press a kiss against the top of your head.
Nighttime would take a slower and more intimate pace, away from the stares of the world as you cuddled up on the couch together watching movies. Luhan would be heavily distracted from the screen, however, focusing on taking selfies with you or turning you away from the tv for a make-out session. You wouldn’t be complaining though, especially as he spent the night showing you how special you were to him.
Yifan -
Only wanting the best for you, it wouldn’t be a shock to you that Yifan would rent out some form of high-class hotel or resort to spend your day in. He’d let you sleep in as much as you wished, making sure that when you did finally wake up, a freshly cooked, gourmet breakfast would be ready for you. There wouldn’t need to be many words exchanged between the two of you, the loving looks in your eyes as you stared at each other from across the table enough to show how excited you were for the day ahead.
Your hands would intertwine as you explored the city you had taken your vacation to, intent on finding all the coolest sights you could in your short amount of time. Luckily, between the two of you, it wouldn’t be hard to find some secretive areas around, away from all the hustle and bustle of the town. They’d be the prettiest places too, untouched by most, and you’d bask in the natural state of it all.
Dinner would be made by the both of you, hips bumping past each other and chaste kisses being exchanged as you shuffled through the kitchen. Knowing the day was growing to a close, Yifan would take the time to really express his soft side, whispering loving words to you as night approached. He’s always been more of an actions over words type of guy though, so don’t be surprised if he gets a little touchy when it comes to expressing his emotions.
Yixing -
A simple and classy man, Yixing would pull out all the stops to make the perfect Valentine’s Day. He’d want a nice and quiet morning with you, so he would stay in bed until you woke up, holding you tightly in his arms. Soft, slow kisses would be exchanged when you first woke up, and he’d make sure to flatter you more than usual as he whispered sweet words against your lips.
After a homemade breakfast, Yixing insisting on practically making a whole buffet while you got comfortable, most of your day would be spent inside. He’d want the two of you isolated as much as possible, that way his attention could fully be spent on you. Surely, it’d make your heart race, and that would only amplify when he’d sing you a song he had written just for you. The words would hold so much meaning behind them, little things only the two of you would understand, and with his soft voice, you’d be practically melting on the spot.
Continuing the relaxing day, Yixing would sweetly ask you to wait in the bedroom while he prepared one last surprise. You’d comply, laughing softly as you heard the bath water from the bathroom start running. The rose petals leading down the hall and to the bubble filled tub would have you heating up just at the sight, but your skin would burn even more as Yixing’s light touch caressed you under the warm water, intent on getting you as stress-free as possible.
Zitao -
An expensive, but nevertheless romantic, trip would be the first thing Zitao would insist on doing for your day together. It’d probably be unplanned, with the two of you hurriedly packing your suitcases together the night before, you lightly scolding him for not giving you a heads up while Zitao just grinned. Luckily, Zitao would have everything worked out very quickly, and the two of you would be able to arrive perfectly on time for the sunrise in your getaway location.
You wouldn’t know or bother asking Zitao how he knew all the best places to visit around, knowing he had probably researched it all while you fell asleep on the plane. He’d make sure the early morning, complete with the beautiful sunrise, would be spent somewhere with a perfect view, and he’d take a thousand pictures to capture the memory forever.
After some more exploring, mainly stopping for food and going on countless shopping sprees, it’d be unsurprising that an afternoon nap would be in need as you made it back to the hotel. Cuddled together, you’d fall asleep quickly, only waking up once the moon lit up the dark sky. It wouldn’t be the most ideal of sleeping patterns, but Zitao would make sure to fill the cold and quiet night with heartfelt words and soft kisses. If you still complained about the slight chill, however, Zitao wouldn’t be opposed to spending the whole night helping you warm up.
[12:55 PM] "Hey!" you call out to the back of your best friend, waiting for him to turn around.
He does almost immediately with raised eyebrows, a question on his face.
"Happy birthday!" you shout out to him among the sea of people the best you could, hoping his ears would magically hear you. Thankfully, they do.
"Thank you!" he says with a wave of his hand and a smile before turning his back to you once again to board the plane when he hears the announcement of his flight.
You smile even as you watch Luhan leave, already counting down the days till you see him in person again.
