i was discussing with my brother about how luigi & guido have three distinct backstories of when they met

either they always knew each other in carsoli (implied in cars 2), they met in italy shortly before going to the US (shown in the boom studios radiator springs comic), or they met on the boat that was heading to the US (shown in the world of cars storybook)

but the thing that remains constant in all versions of their backstory is that they love racing and they love each other, and they were more than willing to move halfway across the world to build something for themselves. and i think that's beautiful <3

flomone and luiguido. obviously

red, fillmore, and mater used to be a triad. it used to just be red and mater both dating fillmore, but then those two developed feelings for each other too (kind nature lovers triad)

at some point red & fillmore realized their relationship wasn't romantic, it was something else :]

after a while, red left the triad for personal reasons (possibly related to mildred bylane. click here to learn more). him & fillmore still have lingering feelings for each other though

mater & fillmore are still together and still insane (affectionate)

we ALL agree that mater & sally like each others bodies. they are life partners & best friends w/ benefits

wayyyy back then, ramone & fillmore would hook up w/ each other. it was mostly for experimentation reasons. they don't hook up anymore but they're still incredibly close

flomone and luiguido did a partner swap (????) at some point

ramone & luigi kinda couldn't stand each other lol

flo & guido did really good though. guido is a great dancer and kisser hehe. they're also sexually attracted to each other but not interested in doing anything about it
