We’ve seen a lot of African immigrants recently in the UFC and they’ve brought a lot to the table. There’s a lot of real deal talent stepping through the doors from around the world by way of Africa and Sodiq Yusuff might be the next dude in that line. Nigerian born, Yusuff looked really good in the VFC fights I saw from him and he definitely has that, cringe aside, explosion in his striking. One thing I noticed was how raw he is in the clinch and how he still hadn’t gotten a grip on the smaller aspects of MMA. This is still a really talented guy with high upside; another unqiue 145er. He’s said that he’s also planning on trying out for the upcoming TUF season fo rundefeated fighters.
Sodiq Yusuff faces former DWTCS and Jorge Masvidal teammate Luis Gomez in the main event of the upcoming Titan FC card this Friday on Fight Pass.
