I think Lui cares a lot about Wil in his own way and his anger is part of that. Obviously yeah we see Lui get angry a lot but his anger at Wil in the aftermath of him being stabbed just felt SO personal

His face here when he hears that Wil is gonna be executed!!! Bro that is genuine fear, he worries for Wil. We don’t often see him panic but this is one of the few moments and it’s soooo important to me

He again expressed annoyance/anger at Wil but it’s obviously out of concern. He’s annoyed by how much Wil does for him, but why would Lui be so annoyed with Wil for serving HIM? After all he’s just a servant for the prince, you’d think Lui must be fine with it all yes?

I’m gonna talk out of my ass here as to why I think that is. I think he has always had a deep care for Wil but he doesn’t want to nor does he really understand. Despite his confidence and popularity, he’s never had any friends besides Wil and that’s noted multiple times in the series. He doesn’t have anyone he’s close to besides Wil (and then maybe Dorothea later on ofc). I think he’s not used to having someone rely on him and just enjoy being around him, he’s confused by Wil and chooses to be annoyed at him rather than understand what these feelings mean

I think abt the domesticity of Wilhelm bathing Ludwig a lot

Actually a lot of my fav ideas of them technically are canon, like Wilhelm dressing Ludwig and bathing him, we just don’t have screen time for it

I have many thoughts about Wilhelm being the ranting/talkative type and how Ludwig, despite his attitude, actually DOES listen to every word Wilhelm says

I’ll write it down soon cuz there was a few panels that convinced me of it but I have to find them again

I will always argue Ludwig cares most about Wilhelm he’s just a tsundere that goes beyond our human comprehension of what a tsundere really is

He literally uses the classic “it’s not like I was trying to save you or anything” line. BASICALLY TWICE. (One when they were kids and then kind of another when he saved Wil from his execution). Dead giveaway man you aren’t hiding shit

Even though there’s not many breaks in character when he gets older, it’s rlly sweet to see he was actually a lonely child who watched Wil/Lisette from afar

Lisette is so funny for this tho like she could’ve totally had Wil wrapped around her finger but unfortunately she’s up against Ludwig who will do anything to keep Wilhelm as his pet

UGHHHH and the little things Ludwig would do when they were kids to keep Wilhelm to himself 😭😭❤️ he was rlly glad to have a person who depended on him and through his own… weird way… he wouldn’t let anyone else lay a finger on him. Ludwig was always alone but Wil was his first everything, it’s rlly cute how much Ludwig wants to hold onto that bond they share

Also btw when I recently reread Ludwig Kakumei I noted down every single luiwil moment so I may just make a top ten luiwil moments because I’m normal about them

Yes the scene where Ludwig basically asks “what are we” is number one we all knew that (i know he doesn’t actually ask it like that but i mean. Read between the lines. He wants Wilhelm he just can’t admit it because he’s too proud)

Hell I might even be motivated enough to just make a doc about them or some chart idk how to organize it but I want to make something
