Luka’s Room

Unlike Juno where her clutter is relatively controlled and all to one thing, Luka has stuff strewn everywhere. Almost none of the floor can be seen or touched, and it’s the same for the walls (rooms doesn’t have that many curtains or tapestry options but trust he has them hung all over the walls wherever wall decor isn’t). He also has a hoard of blankets on hand for Reasons.

Realistically I think Luka WOULD drag Fillet out of the sea when Fall is coming to and end and start weaning them off the TF. He’d find a bathtub for them so at least if the TF doesn’t wear down then they’ll have a warm place to stay. But Luka is from a previous gen of Bailey’s wards and while he saw some TFs, no one, including him, has ever mentioned a Fish TF. Caring for your mermaid little sibling is unknown territory

Oh my god, don't drag Fillet out of the water, he'll go crazy. The water is the only place he feels safe, feels right, and by the end of Summer he's basically discarded his humanity. There are Humans and there's Him, who Hates Humans and wants nothing to do with them. Just thinking about town makes him shudder. He'd rather risk the whales.

I think even for Luka, who Fillet really likes and trusts, he'd still struggle and fight with everything he has. He almost never does defiant actions through his playthrough, never attempts to fend off attackers, but once he's full mermaid he's different. He has a very powerful tail and knows how to use it. He'll do anything to stay in the water.

(if you don't come off too strong at first, Fillet will just refuse repeatedly and try to convince you to respect his choice. For Luka, he'd go so far as to attempt to persuade Luka to join him—shouldn't you, of all people, get it? How much kinder the fish are? How much more comfortable it is underwater?

Juno and Luka would be a menace, she’s ripping that man up

Luka and Mirra just becomes a scary guard dog situation. They make each other WORSE. They hate the town but terrified to leave, he’d devolve into never leaving except for work. He loses the Fish TF, gets sick from withdraw, and loses a huge part of his ability to fight

Juno and Mirra triggers the Charmed state and she’s a menace as welllll. Creepy couple, Juno is less interesting in other people so a lot of the people in town who rely on her occasional help end up screwed. Mirra also becomes incredibly controlling of her since she knows she has so many connections in town, and she lowk sees most of their relationship as protection based.

Mirra ends up ultimately getting Juno possessed by the wraith

In what ways is Luka fish? How fishy is Luka? Describe his fish-ness too me.

So far I've just gleaned he's The Bite and has shark teeth(?)

I know what ur here for and let me tailor my answer exactly to how the fish TF works with Luka.

Moniker: First up, on his name. Luka got his moniker from the people around town. Bro had ZERO comment in it. The short of the story is that Luka, fresh into starting the payments on Bailey's debt, got into a group encounter and bit a chunk out of someone while fighting them off. He won the fight, and to make it worse the guy he bit had to go to the hospital for an infection and almost lost an arm. After that he became pretty well known for fighting, and everyone knew to never ever let him bite you. Go and get your ass beat, fine, but never let Luka bite you.

Luka the Bite, 15pts in the Fish TF. In my head the Fish TF aligns to what fish suits your body best and what’ll help you survive. Luka got a shark because of how much he gets into fights, so his body was already healing and “regenerating” on a regular basis. 15 points gets him the teeth regrowing but it would be different for different pcs since you’d get a different fish tf depending on what your body resonates with.

Luka goes to the beach once a week either on Sundays. This maintains the little bit of decay the TF gets during the week.

He doesn’t have enough points to crave the ocean every day, but he does crave it regularly. He takes pretty long showers in the mornings considering he tries to keep all of his other bills as low as possible, but it also helps that he wakes up way before dawn. He takes a shorter one after work, but he rarely ever misses either.

His fighting infamy is pretty high, and he’s also visually intimidating so people don’t try to pick fights with him much anymore, but on the rare occasions they do and he gets injured he’ll crave the ocean more. You’ll find him spending evenings on the beach soaking up the water. During this time his TF points spike up anywhere from 20 to 40. Alternatively, as a LI you can fight him and it’ll lower his Trust a lot to hurt him but his Love won’t lower as much, so you can force his TF points up to 50 and see how the raised points affect him.

Traits:

The most important thing is that he has his teeth, they’re much sharper than before. He’s rocking the Idia Shroud special. He doesn’t have multiple rows but if his teeth are knocked out in the morning during a fight, they’re back by the afternoon. He doesn’t bother thinking anything of this after living in town for so long.

I hinted at it a bit with his showers but he’s much more active at dawn and dusk. Not that he isn’t awake during midday, but he’s less alert. If you wanted to try and follow him around or anything, midday is your best bet since his radius of awareness is significantly shorter. He’s a born early riser though! The TF only makes him slightly more soothed during midday. (The changes were so gradual and they came along during a time he was VERY stressed and all his stats were being raised, so he literally didn’t notice.) [Daily Activity Rhythms]

It’s slight but his bar for needing human affection and touch is much lower!!! He’s still touch starved but it’s much less than he should for someone who’s been alone this long and in fight or flight. He doesn’t hold the need to hang onto relationships for companionship if they harm him either. [Solitude]

He can polyphasic sleep a little bit unless something happens that makes him more tired than usual, but he doesn’t prefer it since he likes getting in a good rest. He views his house as his safe spot, so he’s gonna use it as such! (The TF makes it possible to do but it’s not something he always does or craves doing yet since his point value is so low.) 20 - 45pt Traits (This is where he starts getting Agonistic Displays when he's at high stress or threatened):

Flexes his jaw more. His teeth start getting stronger and so does his jaw the closer he gets to 45 pts. At that point, he'll hardly go for smooth and easy to eat foods and go out of his way for chewier stuff. He also clicks his jaw more, grinds his teeth, and clicks his molars.

He has a much harder time staying focused on you. A high awareness PC will be able to tell that his eyes are catching on all the light around him! His eyes always catch on light, but the higher his points are the more they linger on bright or shiny objects. As a LI, he makes clothes get a new trait for [Shiny] ! This makes encounters with him, and some other TFs, more likely to happen in PCverse saves. [Eyesight]

Events:

You can find Luka at the beach on Sundays in the evening, and if he's under the Injured status effect, he'll appear during every day of that week. There you can ask him to teach you to swim, challenge him to races, or ask how he feels about swimming.

His injury events occur at random (but will happen less if you’ve improved infrastructure around the town since quality of life improvements lower crime.. not counting SA). When they do you can meet him at the beach during the entire week, and depending on your Love level, you can get different dialogue. As his TF points raise, at mid Love, he’ll keep you by his side around town. At high Love, he’ll occasionally nip at you and invite you to his place more often (it’ll unlock his place to stay at if you haven’t already).

If you fight him to raise his TF points (they'll cap out at 50 unless you trigger a secret Bad End for him) and you have a chance to get an infection from him biting you. The nickname is embarrassing but he's gotten over it and winning by any means is what matters to him. Bro wants to go HOME, but he's gonna get home in one piece!!!

Juno the Charm:

$350 to get that hair… it’s 100 per month to get her roots touched up then tone out the bleach overlay. Her original color is like a deep coral

One of her molars is fake! She shattered it as a kid right after her adult teeth came in. Her dad was incredibly stressed by it and she has dental visits every 6 months on the dot.

She gets along with Avery pretty well since they know her dad. She met them pretty often too throughout her childhood, you could almost say they get her better than her dad does in terms of her worst urges. She’d be MUCH different if they influenced her more, it’s better that Avery just wasn’t interested in getting to know her past doing it for appearances and brownie points towards her father otherwise she’d be FAR worse.

Luka the Bite:

Teeth grow back. “We don’t know why” he has like 20 fish transformation points from FUCK knows where

Allergic to sheep and cat dander.

He’s not a fan of foods you can swallow right away. Or candies that you suck on. He can’t handle sour candy at all or he’ll cry.

Roman the Revelation:

Roman has a big issue in seeing contrast outside. Their contrast sensitivity doesn’t cause that many issues for them and you wouldn’t know unless you asked them to spot something in the background.

I mentioned it in passing in another post but their halo makes a humming noise. It’ll burn and cauterize a divot in your skin if you touch it.

Roman can control their pupil dilation. They use it mostly to control their reactions and cover up how they actually feel in public. It be a bit awkward if people saw their pupils dilate like a cats every time they saw someone bloody and beat up on the street.

Juno was born and raised in Rapechestershire. She went to kindergarten with Whitney actually! It’s all she’s ever known, and even though she’s been on trips out of town with her father she doesn’t have enough of an emotional attachment on sex for her to really see it as different to being cornered and flirted with or propositioned in any other place. For Juno, being harassed for sex is on the same level as being cornered by vendors in tourist cities.

Luka was born on the side of the road. No further comment. He was brought to Bailey’s since it was the only orphanage nearby during that time of year that wasn’t full. The day he entered is also his birthday :) he’s a December baby. He’s not a ward of Bailey anymore since he’s one of the few who paid off his debts, but he doesn’t have the willpower to move away anymore. It’s sort of comfort in the current hell over venturing into the unknown? He’s never set a foot outside the town, he’s barely ever even been on the outskirts of the forest.

Roman was surrendered LATE. They were dropped off at a hospital at 16, both parents alive but just. Didn’t want them anymore. “I have an appointment, go and check in for me and I’ll be right out” never seen again. They didn’t have much affection for them anyways, so Roman moreso found annoyance in the way it happened. After all they were acting like an exemplary “son” weren’t they? How dare you leave them after all the effort they’ve put in. They couldn’t care less about what left them behind… but they do miss the place. Times where they got breaks or sneaking out at midnight to the fields of grass and looking up. They had it all. They just didn’t know there was more to take too, and now it’s gonna be everyone’s issue.

🍝 SPAGHETTI - what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?

NOOOOOOO UR GONNA REVEAL HOW I HAVE NOTHING DECIDED FOR JUNO’S FAMILY. Cop out answer, her favorite food is her moms favorite dish: Dal. She grew up eating a lot of vegetarian dishes growing up. If her dad didn’t also make some foods his parents taught him then she would’ve probably grown up entirely vegetarian.

Luka really enjoys pork bulgogi. The fish tf craves meat /silly. He also just really enjoys the sensations of a food he has to chew a lot.

Roman doesn’t have the chance to be picky since they’re the only pc DoLOc… They like grilled sandwiches. It’s easy to make, plus they can get the ingredients and stretch it out for weeks while changing it up slightly so it doesn’t seem gross after a bit.

could you describe juno, luka and roman's laugh? I'm curious~

Juno's laughter sounds really reserved but a stifled chuckle is just her thing! Mouth covered by her hands as she laughs like a lady in a black and white movie. Very polite and cute!! Her laugh is charming with a few hiccups in between that make most hearts melt.

Luka's belly laugh sounds like a bird call. It's very choppy and has one note to it on repeat. EXTREMELY funny to hear. He does have a nice sounding chuckle since his voice is very soft in general, but he laughs a lot around the people he trusts enough to be with often!

Roman has a fake laugh they use most often. It's charming and sweet like bells ringing. They were raised in deep rural country! They know how to be pleasing and fake for an audience!! Their real laugh though..

FULL on cackle and laughter. They can appreciate a good joke but a really good way to always have them make a real laugh is to make a joke at someone else's expense (they're not a fan of low hanging fruit though). Gasps coughs chokes from laughing too hard OFTEN.
