Luca: Be myself?! I have one day to win them over. How long did it take before you guys started liking me?

Keith: Couple of weeks

Allura: Six months

Pidge: The jury is still out

Luca: See, Romelle!? “Be myself”, what kind of garbage advice is that?

Ryan: [Accidentally brushes Luca’s hand with his own]

Luca: [grabs hold of Ryan’s hand]

Luca: F*cking commit to it.

Ryan(Kinkade) x Luca concept:

They were able to discover the entity inside of Luca and Allura would be able to get it out of her. Luca would be in a really weak state after that, even worse now than before from her battle with Voltron and she would need more attention from the medical bay. She became more cooperative the next time she woke up.

Ryan would make small documentaries for her to watch while being kept in the medical bay and unable to walk around on the ATLAS. Through them, he introduces her to crew members and lets her see different parts of Earth and the interactions he has with the others in the team.

They would then talk with each other through video calls, getting to know each other better and when Luca became more healthy, Ryan would even be allowed to see her in person. The two would bond more and develop a friendship (with a blossoming crush).
