After a long day of fighting, Ladybug and Viperion rush to a secure location so he can return the miraculous of the Snake. Ladybug miscalculates how much time she has left, detransforms mid-jump, and plummets to the ground.

Viperion meets the girl behind the mask for the very first time.

Fic: MLB: Peachy (Lukanette)

Title: “Peachy”

Rating: K Plus / PG / General Audiences

Summary: The only reason Luka was at the bakery was because he was craving some macarons.  Not because he had the feeling Marinette was avoiding him and he missed her or anything. (Companion to WM2019: Hope.)

Author’s Notes/Warnings: This is technically a companion piece for Ch15 of the Writer’s Month ficlets (Aug 21: Hope) – more specifically it’s the bit where Luka goes to talk to Marinette.  That was written before Reflekdoll & Desperada aired, so this pretty much ignores those two eps, but that ficlet should probably be read before this one.  (The gist: Juleka is a Concerned Baby Sister and tells Marinette to stay away from Luka if she still loves Adrien.  Marinette respects her wishes; Luka doesn’t.)  This also follows the Day 10 theme of Lukanette month (Baked Goods).  I’ve got like an hour to kill between work and class on T/R, so I wrote this up then because the one scene would not get out of my head, and it just tied in perfectly with Hope.  (There are so many cheesy Labyrinth jokes ahead of y’all, but if you haven’t serenaded your crush with Labby!Bowie what are you even doing with your life?)

Luka Couffaine was annoyed.

…no, that wasn’t right.  He wasn’t annoyed. He was…not upset, not really. Perplexed?  Maybe.  Agitated. Concerned and trying to keep the concern from turning into worry.  A little afraid.  A little lonely, too, if he was being honest.

The point was he didn’t feel good, and in a city where feeling bad can lead to looking like Daft Punk and stealing voices he felt keeping his emotions on the positive was a decent priority.  He’d been watching the road by the river for over an hour now, the confusing tumble of negative emotions getting worse the longer he picked at his guitar.

“You are not Chat Noir”

Viperion didn’t expect to see a girl on the roof when he followed the tracker of his lyre with the Chat Noir’s symbol so they could start their patrol.

The girl in black turned with a big smile towards Viperion, her long braid moving slightly behind her like a cat's tail.

"Nope, I'm not a handsome boy." She approached Viperion with soft steps, without taking the hypnotic green eyes of the snake hero.

Viperion looked at her carefully for a few moments, trying to decide if she was an enemy or ally when he remembered the Reflekdoll incident.

"You are Ladybug"

The girl let out a soft laugh, getting closer to Viperion until there was almost no space between them. The long braid/tail of the heroine moved closer to him until it clung gently to Viperion's arm.

"It's Lady Noire tonight, handsome." Lady Noire's hand went to the other hero's chin, stroking it with her forefinger as if Viperion was the cat. Lady Noire's smile widened when Viperion's cheeks turned a bit red. “I will be your patrol companion tonight since Chat is busy”

But to the heroine's surprise, Viperion frowned, taking Lady Noir's hand gently but firmly away from his chin.

"What...?"

"I would appreciate if you didn't do that," Viperion began, stepping back, causing the girl's tail to release him. "I have a girlfriend, thank you very much"

Lady Noire looked at him confused for a few seconds, her big green eyes blinking in confusion and surprise, but almost immediately, she smiled again.

"Oh! Of course! I'm sorry” She didn't look regretful at all while she sat on the roof beckoning Viperion to follow her example. “She is a lucky girl, having you as a boyfriend must be like a dream come true”

Viperion looked at her with an eyebrow raised as he sat beside her, a little confused as to how she acted. Normally Ladybug was serious about her work as a hero, seeing her so relaxed was a bit strange for him.

"Is it because of the Black Cat’s Miraculous?"

"So," Lady Noire interrupted his thoughts, all smiles to the point where Viperion thought she should be called Lady Cheshire or something. “Tell me about your girlfriend”

"Eh...?"

“Don't worry handsome, no names. I just want to know what kind of girl can take you off the market,” she said, winking at him.

Viperion only roll his eyes, but he wasn't going to waste an opportunity to talk about his girlfriend.

So Viperion start talking.

He told her about how beautiful Marinette was, with her bright blue eyes, in which he could get completely lost in her vast blue just by looking at them. Her pretty hair that she always wore in cute pigtails, confessing that he would love to be able to comb it in different ways if only an excuse to be able to caress it more often. Her adorable freckles that he loved to trace with his fingers, counting them distractedly while imagining that they were small and pretty constellations on her face.

Viperion practically sang while telling her about how creative and talented Marinette is, how she could transform anything into a piece of art. How intelligent she is, how she could come up with effective solutions to any problem so quickly that her never ceased to surprise him. Her kindness knew no limits, she always tried to help and make everyone around her happy, many times he worried that Marinette could fall exhausted by all the effort that she put in all around her.

He continued about how much he loves Marinette. How much he enjoyed spending time with her, even if they were only working on their hobbies. As he loved having her in his arms, she is the perfect height to be able to comfortably surround her in his arms, with red cheeks he whispered in a soft and loving voice ho he love her kisses, whether they be shy quick kisses on his cheek or long and passionate on his lips.

Lady Noire had a big but soft smile on her lips, listening completely flushed and flattered as her boyfriend continued to speak wonders about her.

"Luka, you're too adorable"

Jagged Stone’s concert in couple

Day 2 : First concert.

"I don't know what should I wear for tonight..."

 I sigh

"Don't worry girl, you always find the best idea. Why don't to wear a skirt with a jagged stone's t-shirt ?"

 I looking to Alya.

"Of course I can ! But... ImagineThereIsAWindAndMySkirtStartsFloatingAndLukaSeeMyUnderwearItWouldBeTheWorstDayOfMyLifeAndHeWillNeverGoOutWithMeAnymooooore...!"

 I said that without taking a breath

"Okay calm down Marinette, Luka will never let you down just because he see you're underwear, it just will be embarrassing that's all, but if you scared that your skirt floating just wear a short under it!"

 "okay...." 

Alya receive a message in her phone, and tell me that she have to leaves and Nino and her will join us to the concert later. I say goodbye and go to my washroom to get prepare, an hour after, Luka is in my door. I kiss my parents and go to the concert. 

"You good as always, Marinette"

 I'm blushing

"Thanks Luka" 

it's the first time for Luka and I to go to a concert. Inside we decide to go on tye balcony close to the scene. Nino and Alya join us 20 minites later just in time of the begining oh the concert. After the concert the four of us start to go back home, but outside a crowd of fan of Jagged Stone, block the passage.

 Jagged Stone see and calling me, we go close to him and discuss, few minutes later he helps us to get out of this crowd. We finally arrived to exit this mess and we all back home together. Luka come with me up to my house, I thank him and kiss him and enter into my house.
