been thinking abt lukas/ogma again and uh

so like. lukas likes to read in his spare time yeah? he mentions it a couple times

ogma finds out through some means of word of mouth, not directly from lukas

and what he does is he like. surprises him, one day, with no predecessor or anything, with a bunch of books from archanea (like history of macedon, soldiers guide to dragons, etc.)

he confronts lukas, saying something along the lines of “I, uh… I heard you like… books.” (re: “im not good at conversation”) and hands them to him, and lukas looks the vast array of books over

and he likes them a lot not just because they’re all new reads because they’re books from a different continent, but the knowledge is more useful, considering valentia and archanea are in the same world, so it would be useful to know in case of an encounter. so he really appreciates how thoughtful ogma he was and

gives him this warm, grateful smile

and ogma’s like. externally: you’re… you’re welcome, I’m glad you like them; internally: *softly but with a lot of feeling* holy shit because goddamn he’s so ad orabl e when he smiles!! and this fuckin dork is blushing at it too! (bonus points if lukas points it out and makes him blush even More)

they part ways for the night and ogma is still thinking about his smile
