The movie "Tall Girl" part 1 represents - the bullying we face because of being different from the crowd. For Jodi, it was her height. It beautifully portrays the emotional struggle Jodi goes through. The strength in her story was her support system, which helped her to stand up for herself and endure her height. In part 2, Jodi is struggling with her defeating negative voice. A bully inside her negates her talent and makes her believe she is fake. She ends up with a panic attack when her parents helped her through. Gradually, she repeated to herself "she is good at what she does" that did not make the voice disappear but, she stopped paying attention to the bully inside her and kept moving on! We all at some point in time become critical of self, a voice that is just noise. And trust yourself to stop paying attention to the noise and keep doing what you want or need to!
