"Why do you hate the Gods so much ?"
Luke had felt this burning hatred for the Olympians since he learned about their existence, that's what motivated him to join Kronos, to leave camp and try to change this world that he knew rotten at its core. This whole quest brought nothing but more sorrow and pain upon him. Worse than that, he couldn't help but think about his soulmate and how he was affecting her with his actions which just deepened his negative feelings that she could feel like they were hers.
After Luke stabbed himself to kill Kronos, Zeus blasted his body off the Empire State Building, believing him to still be possessed. The son of Hermes was sure that he wouldn't survive this ultimate fall. What was his surprise when he awoke next to a girl as beautiful as a goddess and as sweet as a nymph. How even greatest was his shock when he realized the connection they had, like if her joy and pain came from his own heart.
"Why do you hate the Gods so much ?"
"Because of what they are of course. But also because of you, I think..." They had shared this hatred for so long, unknowingly. But now they both were just tired to live surrounded by hatred.
"Calypso... maybe, if you allow me to stay, I could try to learn to move on, with you. Try to learn how to be more at peace, and happier, for us."
