The winter vacation could’ve have come at a better time. Yes, he really felt that way. Only days after Christmas, the Good family went on their annual vacation --this time in Switzerland. It was a winter paradise and the perfect time to forget about the Christmas situation that happened with Luisa. He was so upset about it. The whole time he had been looking for them. He couldn’t wait for his mother to leave his side so he could go and spend sometime with them. But instead they were busy making out with their ‘best friend’ in front of everyone. He felt stupid. God, he even looked stupid. All he could hear was his friend’s mocking tone tone as she delivered the news to him. What made him more upset is that he had to deal with their friends. He didn’t talk to them since, other than to tell them that he wasn’t to be around for a couple of days. The man had been back for a day now and decided to pick them up from work so the two could talk. He had to smoke a whole joint before picking them up just to get himself chilled. If there was one thing that Dominic hated, it was uncomfortable conversations. There was an awkward silence for most of the ride. “So,” he finally broke the silence. “did you have a good holiday?” he said, glancing at them for a second.

“Well don’t you look pretty.” Mina said, wrapping her arms around her best friend. She was so excited that the two could finally hang out at a town party again. It wasn’t the type of party that Mina was used to, but most of her friends were here and they could all just hang out like old times. She really missed it. “You’re not leaving me for lover boy, are you? ‘Cause you gotta make time for you bestest friend, too. He can wait.”
