Xao’s so fuckin edgy lemme put this under a readmore. Xao is an eldritch being, don’t read this if you’re sensitive to gore , body horror , or unreality!!

“Don’t,” Xao says. Aos approaches him anyway, presses against the writhing mass of black, dripping, oily flesh that composes Xao’s left flank. 

“Do not,” his voice is a growl, a harsh whisper that rumbles from his middle. This form doesn’t have a visible mouth, just sharp legs protruding from an amorphous blob that composes the main body. The form drips a heavy smoke that sizzles when it touches the ground, but not Aos. Xao wouldn’t hurt him. Aos knows that, takes advantage of it too often.

Soothing always comes after the rampage. Xao changes his shape into something more normative. It’s an ugly sight, Xao always thought. Gory, when his body folds in and out upon itself to force the meat to grow and cling in a different way. At the end, when he’s stitched himself back together, he’s got four arms and an angry scowl on an otherwise normative body. Two of his hands go into his hair, pulling it longer. The other two go to Aos’s shoulders, gripping him with an anger that Xao knows will only egg Aos on.

“Please. Not while I’m working.”

I want  Xefren, Ruecia, or Ashani to get involved with highbloods and see their different takes on how to stand up to them. With the three of them being hivemates it would be interesting to see how the trio evolve through something like that!

Ishtel:- He says he doesn’t like to get his hands dirty but that’s a fat fucking lie he just likes the runners.- I don’t know if he owns more than 1 t-shirt- This man runs on coffee and will explode if he’s cut off - Kinda wants to start shit in the main branch of the church, just to see what would happen.- Has wanted to grow his hair out really long but it gets to his shoulders and he can’t STAND IT

Prizak:- His first draft of his story, looking back on it now, WAS VERY... VERY BAD.- He has really good anger management thanks to having to deal with Vinasa all the time.- When he was very young he came... really close to actually murdering Vinasa in her sleep but cut off a assassination attempt!- While everyone does see Vinasa as the main head of the cartel, Pizak has quickly garnered the place of ‘Face of the cartel and right hand man.’ He is usually the one being contacted first as Vinasa can be far too violent.- He likes to lay ontop of Vinasa’s lusus and nap, even with how tall he is in his older age he just passes out while it walks aroud.
