So a small detail from Sonic Twitter & TikTok Takeover #7 - All Answers at 10:18 is that Knuckles and Shadow will sometimes just stand together and start at things like the trees of Luminous Forest.
This basically showing how both of the introverted characters can get along with each other. I like this bit.

Sooooooo Luminous Forest is getting a track in Sonic Racing Crossworlds.
Out of any of the level themes that Forces had, Lumious forest got picked. Not that i'm mad, just surprised. I can tell that they are reusing the assets from Luminous Forest which is fine it looks good (really good) and heck they might've made some new ones for it just like how they did for Sunset Heights for Shadow Gens.
I would've expected Sunset Heights or Metropolitan Highway to get tracks (which they could still be tracks just we've haven't seen them yet).
I really do hope we get more Forces level themes like those and.... Maybe Null Space as a Crossworld.... and maybe Infinite (at least as a post lunch DLC character).
Crossworlds looks very exciting and i can't wait to see it when it releases.... also yes i'm very happy that the Werehog, Nine, Rusty Rose, Captain Dread, Miku, Joker, Steve, Alex and Creeper are in the game too. I just wanted to focus on this little thing i noticed.
Every time I come back to listen to this one, I end up having to give the whole track a go by itself before I start writing it. There's something about this melody that really sucks me into it--it's simple and repetitive, but it has just enough variety in it to keep me engaged. It honestly makes me want to cover it myself with a different lead synth! (Probably with my sax instead.) Anyway, the progression has a nice rise with some strong tensions to bring it back to the root. The piano has some cool dissonance as well in the latter half of the "verse" section with the guitar melody. This track really fits the Forces philosophy of strong tension and release--a dense first section that really opens up in the latter half. This would carry ahead into the Frontiers rock tracks, albeit with a harder sound. It really works here though!
This is not exactly art, but I suddenly got a burst of inspiration and made lyrics for one of my favorite Sonic Forces tracks. I think they came out pretty good! They definitely have some of the best lines I’ve written lately. I used vocaloid DEX to sing them, I’m surprised that the main melody doesn’t clash with vocals at all. Sonic level tracks in Forces all sound like they were meant to be vocal tracks, like, you can almost hear singing in them.
...Well now you can hear singing in one of them.
Lyrics under cut!
Blinding lights where the darkness lies -
I cannot recognize
Metal scent irritates my eyes -
I cannot recognize
What becomes of this quiet place
Once I fall behind, losing this endless race
Price of failure, a burning mark
That I cannot erase
Second chance I cannot take for granted
Stolen time I cannot even mourn
From the seeds of terror that you planted
Not despair, defiance will be born
Losing balance, balance,losing touch
All this light is just too much
While the world was flying by
I was frozen still in time
Now I’m going to reclaim
Countless days I lost to shame
Riding strands of neon light
I am here to make it right
And even though it hurts to breathe
Flashes force my heart to freeze
Something is changing in the tide
It's so close, it's in my sight…
Deep inside of the satellite
My senses petrified
I forgot what the wind is like
As I pierce the night
What becomes of this lovely place
If I fall behind, give up this frantic chase
Neon rushes towards the nightmare I have to face
Crimson radiance that left me blinded
Dazzling forest, like a fever dream
But the flame in me that you ignited
Burns much brighter than this phony gleam
Losing balance, balance,losing touch
All this light is just too much
While the world was flying by
I was frozen still in time
Now I’m going to reclaim
Winds and lightning in my name
Riding strands of neon light
I am here to make it right
And even though it hurts to breathe
Flashes force the world to freeze
Something is changing in the tide
It's so close, it's in my sight…
