AHC luminous glow real eye cream for face.
the AHC’s real eye cream for face is a super popular eye cream in korea and there’s so many different versions of it as well, each version has slight difference on their key ingredients which focus on different concerns. and some versions seems to target overseas market and some are only sold in korea, it’s quite confusing overall.
i have previously used another older version and love it, so i decided to buy this one as well just to see the difference, and based on the name, i could also guess that this has focus on brightening effect too. the packaging is nice, very similar to other versions, in a white tube. the design itself is quite classy and convenient to carry around too.
this version has both brightening and anti-aging key ingredients - glutathione, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin c derivatives, i believe they also incorporated their exclusive technology to develop the formula, which makes it one of its kind, you may read more from their official website.
i have been using this for quite a long time now, you only need a little for your eye area, and sometimes i apply this to my neck as well, since it is a product that can be used on your whole face, not just for the eyes, which is another great benefit. the eye cream texture is very blendable, absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling nourished but not oily at all.
i mainly use this at night, sometimes in the morning if i am going to wear eyeshadow, just to keep my eye area moisturize before makeup. there’s no issue at all to use it twice a day. some heavy eye creams make my eye area develop milia but this does not do that all.
i have been loving this product, as much as i love the previous version, this does feel more nourishing while still remain pretty lightweight. as for brightening effect, i couldn’t tell much difference since i do not have trouble with dark spots or dark circles around the eye area, but i do know that my eyes remain looking nice and awake, so maybe it does have effects, but subtly and consistent use definitely would help to prevent dark circles and dark spots.
most importantly, unlike other eye creams on the market, especially western brand ones, this eye cream is very reasonably priced, could be even cheaper than your moisturizer, depending on the brand and whether there’s a sale going on. i always felt that eye creams are very overpriced for such a small amount of product, and this completely make me happy with their pricing, and one tube lasts a long time.
