I asked @melberlin to take this super-duper-artsy-fartsy photo of me in front of what became my favorite hangout location in Berlin. @brammibalsdonuts has the best donuts I ate in my life, and that’s saying something, because I’m kind of obsessed with donuts. And everything is pink. And the employees are sweethearts. And you can sit by the window and watch people pass by, same way you can run into the people who made the films you loved the most at @berlinale. It’s magical and it’s gorgeous. The festival was over a week ago today and simultaneously feels like it was yesterday and a year ago, already.
