Born in the Narva river valley, Luna came to be the primary personification of Narland, an occasionally Swedish but more often than not Danish province, until the reunification of the Narovian lands under the Crusader sect that arose in the region in the early 11th century. She’s been through hell and back over the centuries, living under tyrannical warmongering monarchs, having to constantly fight to retain her independence from Russia and occasionally Sweden, eventually being annexed by Russia towards the end of the second world war.
She may seem like a cold and heartless woman at first, but it’s really a defensive front she’s developed to protect herself over the centuries. Emotionally, that is. She can easily hold her own in battle between her skills in armed and unarmed combat and in the magic native to her homeland. Some worry she doesn’t have any limits to her magic, but she’s yet to really test those theories. Ultimately, her only goals are to remain her own nation, maybe even settle down into peace for the first time in centuries with her family and loved ones safe and sound. And she’ll do whatever it takes to achieve that.
