He was oh so tired; the morning had greeted him with a view of the sky in which he did not recognise and within but an instant had panic and misunderstanding set inward. Steadily paced walking was all he had, hope within his consciousness aimed toward finding a recognisable civilisation... but it seemed as if he would not be blessed with such for even the infrequent trees were different... the grass was different; the air was different.  Finally sitting down did the male allow a breath to ease from his throat, his head reeling from the severe heat, his poor ears feeling as if they were burning from where they stuck out of his stark-white hair. Oh what he wouldn’t give for some water - and oh, his surroundings were uncomfortably unfamiliar. He could cry - the bubbling of fear and homesickness within his throat aiding in the welling of tears. Where was he?

Most usually would the gunman be perfectly in tune with his surroundings, comfortable and at ease within the vastness of the wilderness, among beast and monstrosity alike. He had much training to back up his own person, lack of acquaintance or company utterly normal. But something had struck him that morning; something had allowed him to feel the sheer loneliness he would usually bury deep enough to constantly ignore. It gnawed away at his innards, weighted down his heart, caused the monstrosity within his very soul to become agitated. His bitter inner monologue had disallowed him his usual notation of his surroundings and thus when a few folk started gathering in the distance, he failed to notice for quite some time; Why were they there?
