I think one reason ppl aren’t a fan of ace/aro = lgbt is bc “it’s LGBTA and a is for ace” was started by the creator of ace who’s homophonic, misogynistic and made creepy posts about his wife without her consent. There’s some overlap and I’m all for lgbt and ace/aro communities supporting one another but that doesn’t mean they have to be the same. Historically ace identities weren’t as well known/understood and didn’t have a role in lgbt spaces bc of being ace/aro even though ace/aro lgbt ppl..

have always been involved in the lgbt community. The issue is cishet ace/aro ppl who often refuse to accept they have privilege and try to insist lesbians and gay men have “allo privilege” which is ridiculous. Also as an autistic prob ace lesbian I’m uncomfortable with the aspec terminology bc it’s been used by people on the autism spectrum for yonks

soooo i spent all the orbs i saved for my wife and instead i got 4 hríds and 3 eirikas and a couple of blue pity breakers instead. i have very confused feelings lmao ;;
