Literally think about what u said on the tags of the Tom post all the time. I feel like in theory he could make an interesting villain but then it really fell flat esp in the films ?? Sometimes I wish they made him look like how they did in books/their original models for voldy but I get why they couldn’t for the rating

I know!! I've been seeing a lot of tom riddle meta lately weirdly enough and it's just??? He was so interesting as an orphan and hogwarts student and his upbringing shares so many similarities with harry's especially with them both having been introduced to the wizarding world (and manipulated) by dumbledore. I would've loved to be able to see more flashbacks to really get a sense of how he initially rose to power through charming everyone around him. Meanwhile, the voldemort that harry has to actually face just feels like the cardboard cutout villain stereotype (especially in the films like you said). Anyways this is getting long but it just feels like r*wling robbed us lol

Why is colouring deathly hallows objectively the worst? I tried with one Ginny scene and that was enough for me
