42. What makes your OC happy?
a rigorous battle with a happy outcome, a friendly match with any outcome, her rowboat, which she has affectionately named the wildflower, her sword, which she calls mercy, ending a long day by getting drunk in a tavern, her traveling companions
fr the people whom she fights side by side with are dearest to her heart forever. she loves when they're happy and she loves when they're there
43. What kind of sense of humor does your OC have?
when she gets excited about things, she takes that feeling and runs with it to all sorts of extremes. she loves feats of strength, so her wee 3ft halfling self has challenged literal giants to arm wrestle (no victories yet). when she got paid as an adventurer for the first time, she was so thrilled at her newfound wealth that she filled a washtub with soup and bathed in it. when she's making other people laugh, that's usually where it comes from
she has a few troublemakers on her adventuring team (we're known as manjar) and she loves their crazy ideas. silly subversions of authority, drunken shenanigans, and similar playful hijinks are her style.
59. What does your OC think of him/herself?
mardy thinks of herself as defined mostly by her skill with a sword. it's been her biggest passion all her life and she's proud of where her dedication has brought her, especially since, as an adventurer, she's tested her skill in a lot of rewarding fights. she wants to be the sort of hero whose incredible fights people tell stories about, and she thinks she's on the right path.
68. What is your OC’s favorite season?
fall! she likes being outdoors, and when there's a bit of a chill in the air, it's the best weather for working up a sweat!
74. What is your OC’s favorite color?
blue, i think. she's drawn towards earthy colors, mostly, but i think she finds herself staring at the sky, sometimes, on the sorts of sunny days where you can smell bare dirt baking in the sun and there's that perfect stretch of endless blue from horizon to horizon

13: What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?
ohohooh mardy actually just spent months avoiding her parents before she visited them in our last session. they were supportive but not approving of her choice to become a soldier, and when she realized that she didn't care for the politics of the career, she felt p guilty about ignoring their advice when they had been right all along, and since she fled the city in the dead of night without telling a soul, she didn't have a chance to apologize to them, or say goodbye, or let them know where she'd be going and the guilt kept piling up. the thing that finally convinced her to act was her own death, realizing that her body could have been rotting away in uncharted territory while her parents might not have known that she had ever left the capitol. she still hasn't visited her brother yet, and that's gonna be painful
19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?
since she sees herself almost exclusively as a fighter, it's always unexpected when she's complimented on anything else. the party had a picnic a few sessions ago and we played a game where the oracle cast zone of truth and everyone had to compliment each other. she was astounded at how nice everyone was it was amazing
